Add option to stop scanning of reports when not moving.
Please add a possibility to stop scanning of reports when not moving. It can be annoying sometimes. I just want to observe surround streets while standing. And it also consumes additional traffic. Thank you.

if only reports respected the FIVE mile radius I have set in preferences it wouldn't be as annoying

Yes, fix this please! It's not only annoying but dangerous since I have to push the soft button multiple times to remove the window(s).

yes - this 'feature' is very annoying and distracting when I'm looking at the map when stopped at a red light

I agree, the popup while stopped at a traffic light are VERY annoying. They should never happen. If there is something in front of me on my route, i will see the icon on the map in front of me. If i want to tap it to get more info then i will tap it. People prefer on demand information they can consume as they choose, not meaningless information thrust upon them. (ie. On-Demand vs TV)
Just give us the tools to use the information as we choose, don't assume you know what is important to us or how we want to consume it. Every one has a different learning style and method to absorb and process information.

Yes, please. I hate those popups. They're useless and get in the way of the map.

For pete's sake get rid of those messages. Totally annoying and they add nothing. There are a thousand roads around me at any time that I don't care about. Why waste my time and the nice clean screen by having those messages?

To clarify, it happens to me on android client when I drive with route planned. When I stop for some time (on traffic lights or other) it starts showing me different reports around the map until I move again.
