"Both lanes" reporting option
Add a "both lanes" option when reporting traffic jams, hazards, and accidents affecting both directions of travel at the same time.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Great suggestion! A 'both lanes' option would make reporting more efficient. While waiting for traffic updates, why not check out https://gatesofolympusslot.cc/ for an exciting gaming experience? It’s a great way to unwind during traffic!

YES! I am always wanting to warn of a hazard or police on the roads going the opposite direction as I am. (oncoming traffic to left or right)

That would be awesome

This seems like such an obvious addition, why is it not planned??
With the ability to already report “other lane”, why not have the ability to report a cop in the center median that is affecting both lanes of traffic!
The way it works now, when a cop is in the median monitoring both sides of the freeway, only the side of traffic where the report was made gets the warning. This makes no sense in this scenario. On the freeway (which is where most people use Waze the most) this feature seems obvious and is desperately needed.

When you place an alert, being able to add which side the caution is on..

You can report police on the other lane, but not anything else, I always found that odd.

Possibility to report that my vehicle is actually in the opposite lane. Many times, at the beginning of the navigation, the vehicle is identified as standing in the opposite lane, rather than in the correct lane. Only later, after a short drive, is the navigation updated. Quite annoying that it is impossible to update even before driving, that I am actually in the opposite lane. If there was such a possibility, there was no need to wait later, after the start of the trip, and while slowing down the traffic around me, until the correct route was updated

I believe you should be able to report police as monitoring both directions of traffic instead of having to make two reports one for your side and one for the other direction. It takes a couple of seconds to make the police report, and the time required to make two reports often leaves you down the road away from the location. Not to mention the fact that that requires more time touching your phone which distracts from your driving.

This option should also cause the associated alerts to go to all directions of traffic approaching the officer

We do not need anymore options. Simplify the ones that already exists. It takes too long and it is a danger to other drivers to be fiddling with you phone trying to send a report.

When notifying of a cop or vehicle on side of road say which side and same for objects on road say which lane to know exactly where.

It would be useful to be able to report something happening in the opposite way of mine while driving, directly from the car display like it can be done from the smartphone app.
In fact, currently only what happens in one's direction of travel can be reported by CarPlay or Android Auto -

When posting a hazardous vehicle on shoulder, can we put which shoulder (left or right) the vehicle is on. Bc some accidents or vehicles are stopped on left side in small medians near a curve and it would be great and preventative to know which side of the shoulder the car or accidents are on so we can be prepared or able to safely merge lanes if possible.

I would find this immensely useful -- a simple ability for us to flag whether or not a hazard, such as a stopped vehicle, is at or toward the Left or Right. Whenever I can manage to do so safely, I try to input "Left" or "Right" in the message box, but it would be easier and safer if Waze facilitated this as a built-in function.

Which side of the road the hazard is on, left or right. Specifically a vehicle stopped hazard. Would be good for multi-lane highways.

YES. Thank god the visuals still show up either way, but it would be VERY helpful to have vocal warning ahead of time, too, regardless of which side of the highway the police was reported on. They also often flip back and forth -- pull over someone southbound, get reported by other southbound drivers, but by the time my northbound self gets to his location, he's finished that stop and moved to my side.

It would be helpful to add what side of the road certain things are on. Whether that’s my final destination, an accident, road construction or other things, knowing the the correct lane to be in would be helpful.
