too many missing roads
Too many missing roads. Why Waze's map does not using google map? It is more updated. Waze is owned byGoogle, right?e

Please improve the paving method. It is very hard to pave the new road segment which is parallel or so closed to the existing roads.
The editing will be much easier because the editor do not have to use their drives map that are not always reliable to them to refer.

Incorporate Junction Views, ie, pictures of ramps and turns to allow quick identification of which ramp/junction to turn
Have photos of junctions/ramps/turn offs pop out or have a split screen to view on coming turns at multiple junctions with arrows pointing to the route being navigated

Show distance covered and time passed while driving
It would be great if waze can display the time passed and the distance i covered in km or miles since i started driving when my app is running. This can be optional and the distance covered display can be turned on and off using settings.

When I spot a problem on the road and hit the button , it should mark the problem at that point on the map not when I get to send it , this way would be more accurate .

Fleet management
I work at a transit authority and we pay a lot of money for specialty hardware and software to track our fleet and transmit that information to the public. Possibly too late for my employer, but this is a market that could use a little disruption.

Add resturants to maps... Just like you have gas locations now
It would be great to see resturants along the route.

Sale to Google
I really wish you hadn't sold to Google. I know it means lots of money for you but it means my privacy using your app is gone. And most likely, they will close you down and try to force me to Google maps but I won't use the app.
I know one person won't make a difference, but when the sale is completed I will stop using Waze.

Add a service that will put pings/icons on the maps to show yard sales and allow these maps accessible on all platforms not just devices.
Add a service that will put pings/icons on the maps to show yard sales and allow these maps accessible on all platforms not just devices. You could also expand this to all local community events, school functions for charity like carwashes etc. As far as I know there is nothing currently available for live updates of yardsales and things of that nature. As a mother in a small community that has no need for any apps currently available, this is one I would pay for. Even in this small community, with my gps, I have trouble finding yard sales.

I am using an iPhone, and am in the Detroit area. I think a useful addition to hazards would be 'debris' - I'm sure this would be popular.

Improve the Waze iPhone API
Improve the Waze iPhone API. Currently only the features are available using he waze:// api:

I can't do this currently because only queries are possible, plus the queries can't default to a specific search, further you can't navigate to a long/lat. for address which aren't known to waze... These would be very helpful!

Bug in when driving using Navigate adjusting "Avoid Highways and Tolls"
I think that if I am using the Navigate, but then decide to turn on or off the Navigation settings (Settings > Navigation) "Avoid Toll Roads & Avoid Major Highways, it should address this when it refreshes your route, but it does not. I have to completely Stop navigation and restart.
