1. Fix sunset dark/night mode toggling multiple times per day

   When driving before sunset, Waze switches from its day to night mode a little bit before sunset...then it switches back to day...then to night...then to day... On my drive tonight (headed west on I-20 toward Shreveport, LA), it toggled back & forth 15-20 times before finally settling in on night mode.

   I recommend adding some hysteresis into the switching that matches/compliments how you calculate the sunset proximity. Once Waze switches to its night display in the evening or it switches to the day display in the morning, it shouldn't switch back (you know, as long as you're on the same drive & not going faster than about 1000mph).

2. Camera/Police/Hazard WAS reported here - time frame after removal of issue

   Have currently noticed that reports of police/cameras are being removed by the police and/or camera operators, as soon/soon after the intial wazer report is logged.

   It would be great to see a feature that shows where cameras/police/hazards were reported, but have since been marked as no longer present. When a report is marked as no longer present, it shows up for [say] 2 hours after that 'speed camera was reported ahead'. If issue is still there (ie camera is still present, but was removed by the operator) users can re-enable the report - but NOT remove the warning until the initial time frame has elapsed.

   This should - in theory - remove reports being removed by camera operators/police before they have actually moved on.

3. Right Center Left description for alerts such as hazards

   ADD buttons for

   Right
   Center
   Left
   The app already has a description for everything else you just need to add the above on a single line.

   Other side of the highway would be nice to have.

   The ability to UPDATE a notice someone else added to show misreported or under-reported notifications.

   It works now as,
   Hazard reported shoulder

   WELL as a responder I might want to get something out of that side of the road BEFORE the hazard gets worse or move over to a clear lane.

   So the change would work something like,
   Hazard reported RIGHT shoulder.

   You see then I know I need to move one way or the other to clear if possible say an

   Accident reported ahead

   what if it said

   Accident reported Right lane ahead (closed)

   Google Maps will probably add these features if WAZE does not hurry up to add them.

5. Autovelox and Speed section control

   I have two suggestion about it...
   it would be so much greater if all the autovelox were reported every time also if we run under the limit, because if for any reason after the no ringtone pop up I go over I have no notification about the autovelox... it will be su much easier and safer if was introduced the possibility to enable an all time notification

   for the section control speed you must integrated a average speed in the section and improve the where the section start and finish
   you can copy the Italian app MyWay made by Autostrade per l'Italia SPA

7. The map should be able to display on the phone, even if CarPlay is active

   Please can there be the option of keeping navigation running on the phone screen, even if CarPlay is enabled. CarPlay Display Units are often down low (where car radios used to be), and looking at that as your satnav is dangerous and distracting. Keeping the map on the phone will enable safer driving and a happier Apple and Waze customer base

9. Single lane/double lane countdown

   For roads that switch between single lane and double lane (in the same direction) forth and back, it would be nice to have a counter indicating how long it is left to next switch.
   These kind of roads are common on the swedish country side.

10. Add/Remove Categories for Map Editors

    There are quite a few missing "obvious" categories, such as Self Storage, Tobacco/Vaping shop, Headshops, Equipment rental (Not just car), Towing service, Motels (Even though you have hotel) etc.

    There are also a few redundant categories, like "Pool" and "Swimming Pool".

11. Uso servicios emergencias

    Buenos días, mi nombre es Javier GR, trabajo en un servicio EMS/SEM con una unidad UVI Móvil. Me gustaría transmitirles una idea para poder avisar a los conductores de que una ambulancia/camión de bomberos se les aproxima. Ésto nos ayudaría a bajar los tiempos de respuesta en una emergencia. Al igual que nos sería de mucha utilidad poder disponer de un mapa en una pantalla de nuestra zona de actuación con las actualizaciones del tráfico. Al igual que saltan las alertas por proximidad de radar, pienso que se podría avisar al usuario cuando registre que tiene la ambulancia cerca para poder cedernos el paso con mayor rapidez. Entiendo que una manera sería disponer de un dispositivo en la ambulancia de camino a los avisos geoposicionándonos en todo momento y mandando alertas por proximidad al resto de usuarios.

14. Change speed limit during raod works

    Being able to change a road/street max speed/speed limit during road works
    ex : road works for 1 month, speed limit changed from 70 kmh to 50 kmh during that time and waze doesn't "beep" when you exceed it... this is problematic when there's a mobile radar.

15. Rain mode / mode pluie

    Je suggère une amélioration pour waze.

    Un mode pluie !
    Je m'explique
    La législation est claire (OK surtout en France je ne sais pas chez nos voisins européens ou même outre atlantique) avec un abaissement de la vitesse de 20kmh sur autoroute limitée à 130 et de 10km sur rocades ou autoroutes limitées à 110.

    Le développement d'un mode pluie avec un "bouton" pluie sur l'affichage principal du guidage ainsi qu'un e suggestion de passer en mode pluie si des alertes météo sont détectées dans le secteur traversé pourraient ajuster le temps de parcours à la réalité du terrain.

    Un exemple hier : j'ai fait suivi un itinéraire Toulouse - bordeaux - Toulouse puis Toulouse - Tarbes - Toulouse et mes 2 itinéraires ont été calculés sous condition sèches donc en vitesse maximum autorisee. Mais je roulais sous la pluie durant ces 2 trajets et les temps ont bien sûr été allongés.

    Ceci dont dans un but d'alerter sur des zones de pluie donc à conditions de conduite plus difficiles et d'ajuster le temps de trajet à un temps plus proche de la réalité

16. E-mail alerts for road closures

    I'd like to have e-mail alerts for long-term road closures due to construction, flooding, etc. Those of us in trucking and other nationwide transportation industries could be kept aware without having to scan the entire national map.

17. Add speed-based volume ramping

    When at highway speed Spotify/audio can be at full volume, when coming to a slowdown the audio will automatically decrease in volume.

    This can help drivers be more alert of their surroundings at intersections and when exiting highway traffic.

18. Suggestion: Can we get an auto-reroute or a stalled traffic ahead alert?

    Couple of years ago I was headed home from a 6 hr trip with a 98 yr old man riding shotgun. I was less than 20 miles from home and ran up on a traffic jam on the interstate that added another 3 hrs to my trip.......an auto-reroute would have helped a lot

19. Répétitions alerte radar

    Serait-il possible d'ajouter l'option comme sur le coyote qui vous alerte lors d'un dépassement de la limite de vitesse autorisée que vous soyez dans une zone de radars ou en dehors.

    Car aujourd'hui, l'alerte sonore est effectuée qu'une seule fois après avoir dépassé la vitesse.

20. Fix the Prevent auto lock setting

    Prevent auto lock won't stay selected. It turns off dispite every effort I've made to turn it on. My screen turns off whiloe using waze.
