Outside temperature on screen through the vehicle systems rather than the gathered external weather data.
Vehicles gather outside temperatures as part of the computer systems and display it on on the infotainment screens. I would like this temperature displayed rather than that gathered from the weather data. It would be more accurate and use less data.

gas station status
Dear Madam/Sir! As per the current situation in Hungary, it would be an extreme valuable help if we could signal if there is gas available at a station and if the station is open or in a "closed due to no fuel" status. BR, Gabor Pikacs

Update Waze to ensure that correct speed is displayed when using through CarPlay.
Currently when using Waze thru CarPlay, the speed displayed is approximately 50% of the actual speed.

Manual sorting of places like google maps
I have a list of favorites like everyone but because it is out of order it is hard to fine (Please refer to my "More organization by..." suggestion. the list seems to be in the order of saves and cannot be sorted.
Even if it is possible to group them in a folder it still would not be able to sort it, Not Auto sorting because of the different names but manual sorting like on google maps. I feel It is a quality of life thing, same as my other suggestion.4 votesThanks for your feedback. More organization by grouping locations together
My waze is sprawling with locations that I find it hard to find things fast.
We need a way to organize the locations.
Like the existing Home. Home has its own clear folder and not jumbled up among all sorts of locations.I would like to suggest other folders like "City" or "Beaches" or "Cinemas". I can place all my shops and locations that I frequent to inside it.
At the moment I have to look through a whole list to find it. Horrible!

Show blocked and illegal lanes
London, Clapham Park Lane. Bus lane at a junction. There is a left turn lane for buses only. But Waze shows to turn left and does not show the forbidden lane on the map. I had a fine for being in that lane. Please edit the map to show that lane. Possible even a verbal warning to the unwary

Alerts not timing out on Android Auto
The alerts (camera, stopped vehicle, roadworks etc) donot time out when uou have passed them, and are only cleared by selecting a response or expanding then closeing route details.

Alert Not Disappearing
When an alert pops up it will not disappear like it used to. I need to be able to see the map and sometimes I don't have availability to say whether something is there or not. Please fix this error and make the alerts disappear again after a short period of time so they're not blocking half your screen for the remainder of the drive.

Whiteout conditions
A report for winter whiteout conditions would be extremely useful and a great safety feature for those in the north that deal with these weather conditions.
Whiteouts are the single most dangerous winter driving we run into and they can come out of nowhere and effect very narrow sections of highway causing near zero visibility leading to pileups.4 votes -
Filter gas stations by fuel type (grade)
I'd like to expand vehicle settings by preferred fuel grade, for example:
Unleaded 98 (not all gas stations have 98 octane fuel, where 95 is available pretty everywhere, but car should be fueled with no-PB98)
800V charging stations (for cars with 800V battery, charging via 800V stall is quicker than by 400V one)4 votes -

Waze on Android Auto needs to have more features
Many very important features of Waze are still unavailable on Android Auto, most importantly being unable to report a road as closed. Many times I have run into a temporarily closed road and I am unable to report the road as closed through the AA interface. Due to this, when I am diverted from the closed road I am immediately redirected to the road I know as closed and have to just drive far enough away that I get a different route. Another very important unavailable feature is being able to add a stop for something like gas or food.…

Turn off construction alert - bug and improvement
There are other suggestions for this but some are old so I am also adding a new one. The audible alerts for costruction and not at all helpful and very annoying. I have selected to not show alerts for construction yet they show on the map. One zone near me has up to 5 different alerts from people throughout the construction zone, including a spot where the "End Road Work" sign is visible. I get it, people (hopefully passengers) are bored and play with the app. But the audible warnings interrupt my music or podcast and get very frustrating.

X-Wing Car Icon
Years ago, before iPhones had Nav apps, I had a TomTom. My TomTom had an X-Wing Fighter Car Icon. Any thoughts to having one for Waze?

Maps in English regardless of current country
I would like to see Waze maps in English regardless of the current location. When traveling through non English speaking counries it's a headache to do map navigation. Voice guide is not always enough.

Access Phone’s Calendar from Apple CarPlay
At the moment, you can access your iPhone’s calendar from the Waze app on the iPhone. This allows you to select the calendar item from Waze, and then Waze will automatically commence navigation to the address associated with the calendar entry.
Unfortunately this same feature isn’t available from Waze within Apple CarPlay.
This feature enhancement request is to request the same calendar access ability from Waze in the iPhone app is made available on the Waze Apple CarPlay app,
That way, you can get in your car, and from Apple CarPlay Waze, select the calendar entry appointment you are driving…
