Add Rest Area/Gas station data to map
Other mapping softwares include rest area/exit area information as you drive down a highway.
The information appears on the map and shows where the next exit is, and briefly shows what services are available there.
It’s helpful on longer trips where you may want to be maximizing your time on the highway. (For example, I may know that I have 50 miles left on a tank of fuel, but it’s not always clear if I need to stop immediately for fuel, or if there’s another service station 25 miles down the highway)

I hope to remove the road name display because it often blocks my view of intersections. it’s annoying and frustrating, it affects my view of the route. I also want to cancel it, but I can’t find a way to remove it.

Schuko connectors
In the electric car options, web cannot choose the schuko connectors, and it's used by a lot of electric motorbikes, even when can find public connexions on the street.
Electric vehicles includes motorbikes too.

Traject Control
Here in Belgium we have a lot of Taject Control places, it would be nice if we got our AVERAGE speed throughout the course, and also the RECOMMENDED speed to not recieve a fine.

Option to remove balloons with street names
On several occasions, balloons cover streets and intersections, making it impossible to see the route clearly. I suggest an option to disable these balloons

Dark mode - black background
We need darker dark mode! Gray streets on black background, as the Android Auto screen is now too bright, when driving at night!

Better display
So when the map shows an exit number it is highlighted in the upper right of the map. The problem is the color is hard to see, it is too small. Can you please make the exit number larger with a brighter color in the background.

Legend too small to read
Mostly brilliant but some things annoy such as the motorway or road sign next to turn off being so small it can't be read from drivers seat without binoculars. I can send in photo examples. Could you also make option not to take complex detour to not save 1 minute wait ... Fix that you'll get 5 stars

Notre position pour le dépannage
Serait-il possible d’obtenir longitude et latitude de de notre position pour le depannage et de pouvoir rechercher l’endroit avec ces nombres. En voyageant et traversant plusieurs états et villes, il n’est pas toujours facile de donner notre position précise. Cela permettrait au centres d’aide de nous situé au plus facilement au lieu d’expliquer approximativement notre position. Merci et bravo Waze

Add More Car Icons
I would like to see more options for car icons. Rather than Waze spending time creating the icons, Waze could provide specifications for icons and users could then create and upload their own car icons. A handheld GPS unit I used to have had this capability. It was great to be able to select things like the U.S.S. Enterprise, or Defiant, or Enterprise-E, or Airwolf, or K.I.T.T... or whatever users could come up with.

Remove Blue Tinted Night Mode
The new updated changes the base color of the map when engaged in night mode. This map is extremely hard to read in dark conditions, and the overall color scheme is unpleasant. The original night mode used an all gray color scheme. Please allow user to revert back to the original or remove it all together!

Sun glare
How about adding "sun glare" as a Weather Hazard option or as a general option; it can be blinding. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, sun glare causes approximately 9,000 crashes each year. It's the second environmental-related reason drivers get into crashes, with the first being slick roads. Also, move "vehicle on side ahead" to the first screen since for me it's the option I most use. Otherwise, it's two screen prompts to access it!

User definable size for current speed and speed limit objects.
Allow the diameter of the current speed and the speed limit circles to be determined by a small/medium:large parameter in settings
