Add vertical slide feature (navigate / traffic report like)
There are already 2 slide options.
1- If you click the Menu button and slide from left-right you activate the 'Navigate' command
2- If you click the Report button and slide from right-left you activate the 'Traffic report' commandWhat if you implement more 2 slide options, but now vertical (up-down) ?

Have more categories for landmarks.
One example is Golf Course (and it would be great if it is shows up as green on the maps)
Another is Construction Zone. Users can identify construction zone in the map editor to warn other user (especially those who are not familiar to the area) of potential heavy vehicles entering and exiting the construction site (a more permanent thing instead of having to report it daily)

It would be nice to have a map on the client that shows the colorful streets according to the average speed obtained thanks to all the GPS
It would be nice to have a map on the client that shows the colorful streets according to the average speed of road segments obtained thanks to all the GPS as the live map on the website: yellow above 45 km / h, marron between 45 and 20 km / h, white below 25 km / h, so as to also choose myself the way and everyway understand what type of road is at a glance!
maybe you could also make sure that the streets are set automatically (only minor, the primary and streets) coloring itself according to Vmedia ..…

Reason: that way one could get an idea of how accurate congestion reports are and for example how likely a new police speed control has been setup, since a Wazer drove by. Add an option to notify others of destination/eta by voice. This is currently a 5 tap operation without specifying a recipient.

911 option in app on iOS (to report accident)
I was stuck in traffic today and while stopped I witnessed an accident in the opposite direction involving a motorcycle - I closed the app to call 911 but traffic in my direction started moving before I could post update to map. I was wondering if maybe their is a way to report an accident through waze and maybe even have it automatically post a map update for other users to see (ie - using waze to call 911 would post a flag at that location as an accident)?

Please add iTunes support! Simple track info and Forward/Previous track
To have always on the screen option, to eliminate need to use multi-tasking to toggle between iTunes

Ability to declare a suggested route bad
Sometimes Waze suggests routes that are so bad as to be cringe worthy. It would be nice to to be able to report them for review.

Abbreviations
use abbreviations for hazzards B (breakdown recovery), T (Tire Debris) R (Road works) F (Fog) etc

crash recovery
Better crash recovery, if im recording a route and the client crashes for any reason it would be good if when it was restarted it continued from where it left off. Currently it forgets the route.

Add a softkey to take screenshot
In Android you have to simultaneously press [Low Volume] + [Power] in order to take a screenshot.
If you are driving this is not possible and even if you are a passenger it is not practical.
It would be great a soft-key was created in the map (like the zoom commands).2 votes -
Road hazards
Have the option to dismiss users postings. Say if a disabled car is no longer there. Or if a cop isnt there or theres no longer traffic issues jams ect. Add a buttong to be able to dismiss any and all. I know it pops up for disabled cars once in a while. But make it for all things posted. Cause i notice some people post things just to get points that are not even there.

Make a "Map Editor" search mode on client
For area managers and other people who are into editting the map, make a search option that will help route them to a "map problem area" or to an area they marked for themselves from the map editor, and help them report to themselves what needs to be fixed. Then when they get back to their desktops, they can see what they recorded and make the appropriate fixes.

Add "Help me" button
I use Waze all the time while i drive the roads around Israel and i see people stuck on the road a lot. but i cannot always stop and assist since i am driving too fast or on the far lane when i cannot reach them. this "help me" button will pop up (like any other report) and ask for help: maybe a person needs a jump, or a ride to somewhere, or help changing a tire. the respondent will have an "on my way" button to come and help that person.
