traffic alert in highway
as a Waze user, I'd like to receive a voice traffic alert when traveling on a highway (at highway speeds) and the map shows traffic on the route. Also, I'd like to have the configuration option to enable or disable it.

Waze on cluster screen over Carplay
Apple Maps and Google Maps are able to display a map on the cluster screen when connected via Apple Carplay.
Can an option be implemented for Waze to do the same thing?

Traffic jam at an exit
If there is a traffic jam on an exit, the highway may be sufficient to indicate this in time.

Next street on the map
The name of the next street on the map never shows up. Only the next street after that. How about at the top of the map, it always shows the name of the next street?

Utilisant waze pour mes trajets,
Utilisateur de Waze pour mes trajets, ce serait bien d'avoir les points des aires de stations et surtout les points des aires de repos, bien utile quand on ai fatigué, sur les autoroutes françaises.

Increase hazard report to a minimum of 1km/ 600 yards and repeat at 500m/300yards

I’m retired; I never want to see work appear as a destination choice under home again!
I’ve worked 40 years and I just retired. I love Waze, but I never want to see the word work appear again when I program in a destination and the app will not allow me to delete it and merely leave home showing! I don’t want work to appear as an option, even if its left blank. I want it gone!
It’s a big psychological step to be able to do this, wouldn’t you agree?

A warning for heavy traffic. “ traffic…. 10 miles ahead” “average speed …. 3 miles per hour”. Giving someone a chance to exit prior
Heavy traffic or back up warning - 5 to 10 miles ahead. I clude acerage speed of traffic in the back up.

Option to identify speed trap/police on other side of street/highway/overpass
Option to identify a speed trap on the other side of street/ highway or overpass should be an option. The option for the other side of the street was an option and taken away for what reason I don’t think was a good idea. Should expand more options for identifying things to look out for. Thanks 🙏🏼

Add comments when reporting police presence/speed trap
Would like a feature added when reporting police running radar, comments like: “sitting in church parking lot with lights off”.

feature suggestion, pop up reports when there are traffic issues to any of the destinations on your favorites list
we all have favorites saved. waze should pop up a warning when it detects we are travelling and warn of accidents and such in a route to any of the destinations, we could then click to find an alternate route and have from there. also, what about a warning when there are serious accidents near home and work locations.

Add the google map feature: swiping direction box shows next steps
In google maps on Android Auto, swiping on the box showing the next turn shows the next step. If you keep swiping you scroll thru the steps. This feature needs to be added to Waze.

Rest area icons and an Altimeter
I use Waze literally every time I get in my vehicle. For both local driving and road trips. It would be awesome to have an altimeter on the screen and to have it show rest areas on the map. Maybe in map editing if we could add rest areas and other places with restrooms to the maps that would be great and a major help for travelers.

More robust vehicle icon selections
Customizable vehicle icons, use drop downs - vehicle make, vehicle model, vehicle color...example - Ford, F250, Black - then icon resembles a black Ford F250
