Allow destinations with a programmed stop to be saved as favorites
I always stop at the same place when I go from home to work and would really appreciate not having to manually enter that stop everytime.

PLEASE make it EASIER to add an address to a favorite
Please make it easier to favorite an address. I logged into the web version (from my PC), and there is no where to add an address to favorites. I chose send address to phone, and then I had to point camera to a QR code - why doesn't it just send it to the phone via the internet? Anyways, the navigation to the address comes up - but NO WHERE is there an option to add to favorite. Nice app, but please make this easier.

Please consider removing topmost voice control, search, and favorites bar in CarPlay.
Wouldn't it be nice to have this bar removed in order to show an expanded map?

Search History
Is there a way you can develop the option to list your recent 5-8 searches, under the Favorites and Gas Stations? At times I'll search a long bank name, or a specific coffee shop, along my route, and it'll be very difficult to retype it again minutes later. Can this be added?

Sync web to Iphone app
Once you are logged in on either your iPhone or web desktop app, all your locations, favorites, history get synchronized.

Allow other users to send address to my handheld client
Allow facebook friends, waze group members, etc. to send an address to my handheld client if I am online.
1) When an address is recieved by the client, ask the user to accept the route, reject the route or block all address pings.
2) If I don't have a route set, auto accept the aaddress after 10 seconds.
3) Add a new category to the Address Search dialog similar to My Favorites, Recent searches, Contacts, etc. List the received addresses for easy access.8 votes -
To be able to see favorites (gas stations, businesses) enroute to a destination.
You're on a trip and you'd like to stop for coffee or gas at a favourite company on the way to a destination but you don't want to see locations behind you or out of the way.

favorite locations are now saved with your user data on the server.
When installing a fresh version of waze (and not upgrading), you will get a message asking if you’d like to download favorites from the server. -
Update online help re:Using your personal address book contacts to navigate (for iOS)
Current online forum help does not accurately describe how to enable Waze to access your personal address book contacts to navigate (for iOS). After some back/forth with Waze staff I was able to find how to do so.
To enable Waze to access your personal address book for iPhone
- Ensure you are logged into Waze under the “settings” section
- Open up Waze and press “search”
- Press “Where To?” And it will take you to the next “Where to” screen that shows “Talk to Waze” and “Favorites” below the search bar.

This-trip-only Navigation Preferences or Warning When Any "Avoid" Option is On
Occasionally a given trip requires selecting "Avoid" options within Navigation Preferences. However, it's easy to forget those options were set, resulting in a convoluted and potentially time-consuming routing the next time Waze is used for a different destination. Suggestion is to provide an upfront Navigation Preferences option for "this trip only" when setting up the trip or when a trip is selected from favorites. An alternate approach to this issue is that whenever a future trip is defined, via favorites, new trip or past trip, the user is alerted if any Navigation "Avoid" settings are ON.

Adding addresses needs to be user friendly
When adding an address to "Favorites" it's almost impossible. Once you type in the address, there is not "Add" button only "Back and "Close". I tried to follow the instructions it says to touch to add and I add the address and nothing happens. Impossible to add "Home" or "Work". Frustrated.

Home and Work favorite should have "use current location" to add, not just search for address
This favorite is great. But it should have a "Use current Location" button to add your Work and Home. Searching for an address it will not show exactly where the house is, in this case in Ecuador, if it's a new home or not on the database.

App starts in dashboard menu
It would be useful if the app, once opened, went to a dashboard or menu which allows selection of one of many options. Currently it opens right to the map and suggests where I might be going based on previous habits. I would rather have that option available along with other options such as a general search, favorites, home, work, gas, etc. This could easily be done with 6 or so large icons to keep the screen clean. This would also avoid the need to multiple selection when going somewhere other than the defaul that's pops up on the…

Web Page interaction
Why the web site does not bring my favorites places? It would be very easy for us to edit a add, delete, modify a destination on web page rather than the APP..

I need to use waze on two devices simultaniously. I dont care about collecting points, I care about sharing waze setup, favorites, destinations, etc.
Before implementing such stupid ideas please ask the community

Family account
Until recently my wife and I used the same waze account. This was useful so we could share addresses of friends and family. Unfortunately waze does not allow us to be logged in at the same time.
I'm hoping waze can re-enable the capability to use an account on two devices simultaneously. alternatively introduce an export/import capability to the account so I can create a new account and just import my favorites my address and preferences6 votes -

Create favorite friends list
It would be great if we have a favorite friend list in order to share HEC be easier and faster.

Enter favorite locations using site/app (more than 1.000 miles away)
Next month my family and I are going to Cancun for vacation and I wanted to be prepared and start entering destination points as favorites into my app to be ready for my trip. I realized I cannot do this through my app because I am more than 1000 miles away and this option is not available on the website that could make things way easier for planners like me.
