Change beep sound to voice alert when exceeding speed limit
Please enable to choose between beep sound, and a voice alerting the wazer that they are nearing speed limit and a voice saying: " Check your speed limit" will help wazers to keep their speed limit in check and drive better.

local voices
Have directions read to you in local voices. Choose your town and the voice would feature someone from that area and use local vernacular and dialect for personalization and added fun. Start with @pardonmewithp in the Detroit area.

Mandalorian theme
Can we get a mandalorian theme, with the armourer giving driving directions, when to go the correct way it’s confirmed with the armourers voice saying “this is the way” and maybe Kuiil saying “I have spoken”? also maybe Mandos ships as driver icon ?

Nicki Minaj voice on waze
Just as you have Jennifer Hudson voice you should have Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Billie Eilish, post malone, just a few I think that I wouldn't mind riding to and some diffrent vehicles also a minimized popup screen like Google would be great as well it's just a few things would make me totally leave Google plus a direction to where the arrived destination is it just leaves you in the middle of the street to look for which side the property is on.

Mirandês, Portugal's second official language on Waze
Since 1999, Mirandese (in Portuguese, Mirandês) has been Portugal's second official language. My suggestion would be to include a female voice in the catalogue of available voices (for this voice I can suggest Professor Ana Afonso, who translated Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's "Le petit Prince" into Mirandese) and a male voice that she herself can suggest. Hear Waze voices before selecting a new one
I'm sure folks would like to know what a Waze "voice" sounds like as soon as they select one, without having to "save" it, then take a "trip," to hear it! Whenever the user selects a "voice," it would say something like, "Turn left at the next light" or similar, making it much easier to decide which voice is best.
41 votesWe plan to work on the option to hear the voice before choosing in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

Navigate to a saved place using voice command in android with google assistant
Navigate to a saved place using voice command in android with google assistant on Samsung S22 phone. For example, if I have a friend named Jim and enter his address as a saved place in waze and name it "Jim". Then shouldn't I be able to open waze and say: "Ok google, drive to Jim". When I do that now, google assistant responds with "Sorry I don't understand". Isn't that a pretty basic functionality? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Voice Change Glitch and Popping Sound?
When using Waze with voice enabled it switches to a different voice for some lines? It didn’t always but lately it switches from the normal voice to a young girl calling red light cameras “Stoplight paparazzi” lol. Also, sometimes while driving with alerts only the music lowers and a pop sound plays and the music returns?? What does that mean?
