BUG: Apple route direction "stack" on phone not updating during drive
When using Apple Carplay, the latest version is NOT updating the text direction "stack" seen on the phone while driving. Previous versions would remove the turns after they've been completed. The only way to get the stack updated is to toggle to road reports then toggle back to the directions on the phone.

Feature request for CarPlay (Report roadblocks)
Hi there!
I would like to make a feature request for CarPlay users that already exists in the phone app, which is reporting a roadblock. Sometimes Waze gives us a route and we come across a blockage caused by roadworks or an event. It would help other drivers if we could report the blockage. Otherwise, to report we have to disconnect the phone from the car, access the app and then report. It's a hassle and can lead to accidents.

CarPlay lagging issue suggestion
Humble tips for the Waze developers:
- if possible measure response times from the system. If they go out of bounds or no response, perhaps:
- reduce the amount (reduce framerate) of mapdisplay data
- reduce the number of calls per second
- or stop sending mapdisplay data to CarPlay.
- stop showing the map altogether and only show lane/direction arrows with exit names/numbers in these cars
- Perhaps there is a function in CarPlay to clear the buffer and resynchronize the display to current position;
- suggest that users should not use CarPlay in these cars for navigation.Hope…

When using Apple car play there is no option to add a stop with the closest available location on route
When using Apple car play there is no option to add a stop using the closest available location on your current route. It only shows by mileage but that can sometimes backtrack you.

I use carplay and especially when using navigation the buttons that driver uses most are further away from the drivers reach making it unsaf
I use carplay and especially when using navigation the buttons that driver uses most are further away from the drivers reach making it unsafe to access them while driving. As the displays are getting larger, the position of these critical buttons go farther away from the drivers reach. Place these action buttons closer to driver on the left hand side of the display.
Please do some safety evaluation like they do when designing aviation cockpit and controls

Please keep arrival time on screen during alerts.
Please keep arrival time on screen when alert pops up while driving. Whenever I get speed, red light camera alerts, the arriving time disappears and comes back only after alert goes away.
There is enough room in car play screen for both or make the alert smaller please. I would like to see, arrival time and remaining time left at all times.

Connecting to CarPlay and using Bluetooth
When connecting to CarPlay don’t change the sound to be default device CarPlay

Customise CarPlay view
On wide screen car screens Waze buttons are all too small. Make a setting screen to customise the size and layout of the onscreen elements to make it easier to use especially with a touch screen. The Apple buttons have recently been improved in a similar way

CarPlay Menus. Make them short
Menus selection of CarPlay when reporting hazards or any such activity shall not be more than 2 clicks part.
Some of the menus are terribly long picks. Report Hazard, then read and select where and then read and select what?
Is it expected that drivers, while driving and observing, shall read that many options & menus and punch in that much click and menus to report an event in CarPlay. Distracting and dangerous on freeways.
Make it short of no more than 2 clicks away and more visual.

Connected to apple carplay ,,,, when i have a massage location in whatsapp open it in waze, is ((stuck)) in search page i can’t do anything unless disconnect my phone from apple CarPlaY ,, i can’t complete the process and show the route unless I disconnect ,, that problem disturb me when i driving

Audio pop up
Have a small box (preferably in a corner) with prev, next, and pause along with album art and song name with preferred audio app when using full screen map on CarPlay/Auto rather than using just the half screen

Im CarPlay fehlt eine Zeit für die ungefähre Verzögerung auf der Strecke
Es müsste eine Anzeige für die voraussichtliche Verzögerung auf der gesamten Route auf dem Display vom Car Play angezeigt werden. Bei TomTom ist die Funktion vorhanden.

Waze on android auto route issue
The recent update on waze for Android auto no longer lets me choose which location after I voice command a destination. If I say, "take me to AutoZone" and I'm 5 miles from one it often just starts my route to one in a completely different city. I've even had it route me to a different state! Before it would give me a list of places that matched that name and I got to pick. Also, my route history now shows up on boot on Android auto. I drive for work a lot and it is not my passengers' business…

Yesterday afternoon was a terrible day for traffic in the NY/NJ area. Waze had routed me to use Challenger Road and local roads to get from the NJTPKE North to 46E toward the GWB. The left turn to 46 E was blocked by multiple police cars. Considering that I had spent 10-15 minutes following directions only to be re-routed again, I wanted to let someone know. Train Tracks (Animated?) On CarPlay
While navigating via CarPlay and seeing train tracks on the display, the track seems animated in a irrelevant way. I understand the perspective of the track changes, as the object moves alongside of it, but the animation is distracting to my opinion. My suggestion would be to minimise the animation by decreasing the times the refreshes. Hopefully this can be fixed, so driving next to train tracks is less distracting.
