In India, due to the high number of speed bumps in all cities, it is really difficult for the volunteer editors to get to all speed bumps in time.
It would be really nice to report the speed bumps from the app while driving like a pothole report. Since speed bumps do not vanish immediately, they could stay on the app and then reconfirmed by other Wazers.
Please also allow it to be reported from app, Car Play and Android Auto as our Wazers are spread all over.9 votes
It has been said numerous time that due to private data protections, URs are always posted anonymously.
However, many editors use the UR system as a mean to "take notes" of problems during a trip, and then will correct deal with those UR when on WME after the trip.
However, those URs are always marked as anonymous on WME and other editors often start to reply those UR not knowing that those were done by other fellow editors. This leads to a lost of time, since those UR should be considered as "already watched by another editor".

Please reinstate the "Police on Other Side" feature. Reporting speed traps is the most useful reason to report police, and traffic moving in opposite direction will always be better suited to identify and report.36 votes
I would really like to see the option to report animals on the side of the road (critical for drivers in areas with a large deer population as these animals can become hazards) return to the reporting options. Roadkill would be nice too but I guess “object in road” will do.11 votes
Waze Ghost Driver Notification Feature Idea
Concept: Integrate a real-time ghost driver notification system into Waze to enhance driver safety and awareness.
User Reporting: Drivers can report suspected ghost drivers (vehicles traveling in the wrong direction) through the Waze app. This could involve:
Selecting a dedicated button while driving in the opposite direction of traffic.
Reporting through voice commands while using the app's navigation.
Uploading dashcam footage directly to the app (optional).
Data Verification and Alerts:
Waze verifies user reports using multiple data points:
Opposite direction of travel compared to map data.
Corroborating reports from other users in the…7 votes
I thought of this idea where, if a user replies to a UR email, they will automatically get an email back (like an Out-of-Office reply) saying, 'Message not Received, you must click the link in the email to reply to this report'.
This would hopefully reduce the amount of URs with no replies, and isn't as hard to implement as other ideas.
Like right now there's a couple of reporters that reply to the emails instead of clicking on the links. Would it be possible to create a certain email wildcard that posts what they say in the email onto WME? I've seen this done with other businesses so I don't know why Waze can't do it. For the meantime at least add a banner at the top of the email body stating it's a no reply email and to use the links provided instead.6 votes
Bring back the ability to report animals!6 votes
Please bring back the option to report animals. Who decided to remove it? I can report gas prices at the press of a button but I can’t alert anyone to Bambi skipping across the road?5 votes
The police reporting system needs to be switched back. Driving along the interstate, I frequently report police sitting on the opposite side of the road. I also report police sitting in the median checking for speeders both ways. The "other side" button needs to return.
Have the option to report a ULEZ mobile camera van.12 votes
Potholes persist until repaired. Pothole reports should persist until consistent replies with “not there”. If the majority of people are confirming, then allow the pothole report to persist (edited from “until someone reports “not there”)7 votes
How about enabling Siri interaction so users can report things hands-free? “Siri, tell Waze to report police” or “Siri, tell Waze to report a stopped vehicle on the shoulder” would be a lot safer and easier while driving than fumbling with the phone or CarPlay UI. Please consider it.3 votes
Add "Roadkill" back! 1000's of Wazers are asking the same question! Do you not listen to your followers? Geez!3 votes
We seriously need a REPORT PERSON on the Road Button!
Today there was a person walking on the Far Right Lane where People with Car Problems are Parking,
A car in front of me Suddely steer to the left, hitting another car almost. because some one was walking there.
I wanted to report a situation, but couldnt find the fitting Report for it.
ALSO ADD a REPORT By Voice option. for drivers8 votes
Is there anyway you can report police and speed cameras with a lot more notice, from my experience 0.3 miles is no where near long enough to react in most cases!! Could it change to 1.2 miles. This gives us more time to react and plan ahead. Also you could make the report for the police on both sides of the road!!1 vote
BRING BACK THE ABILITY TO REPORT ANIMALS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!! This was an absolutely poor decision to remove! It’s critical to know when there are deer and other animals!2 votes
To report an issue whilst driving is dangerous and requires 2 presses and some looking at the screen. Why not let driver press the report button just once, at an incident and when vehicle is stopped a reminder comes up on the screen to complete the report. Waze has already logged its location and the driver can then report the issue as normal.2 votes
We should be able to organize the report types so it is easier to click certain ones. Also I’d be cool if we could permanently pin certain reposts on the screen so they are quicker to choose for more common reports in our areas2 votes
Too many steps to press while driving to report hazard etc can be dangerous. Why not allow users to create a customizable single press shortcut button for reporting car on shoulder or object on road instead of multiple steps of pressing buttons to get to the final issue. ie. not needing to press Hazard and then having to search the type of hazard in the small phone screen while driving. A single shortcut would be much easier. The most commonly used report for me is car on shoulder so why not just allow me to create that single shortcut.2 votes
