Have you guys considered putting together an actual w a z e GPS unit so that we do not have to use it on our phones? We would still need something that would connect and show live traffic. I would really like to see a GPS unit come out because I would buy one. I currently have a Garmin and do not like it. I like live updates I just wish it was in its own separate unit so it didn't take up my phone

Share location with family/friends
I would love the ability to use this app in place of another (for example, Life360) so that I can track my family's location and they can track mine. With arrival and departure alerts settings too.

Adding an exemption pass for Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels When you have disable badge
When you have a disable badge you can apply for congestion charge exemption. This is already a pass on the app you can add. However, this also allows you to go through Blackwall tunnel and Silvertown tunnel for free. So adding this exception should be updated. Since it always defaults to going over dartford bridge.

Old waze back
You guys did me frowned because I need my old waze I am crying for it you guys won't listen when every one says "Hey, Bring old waze back!" Plese do it. date: 2019 make it as a nice uptade. Make it Please google employees.

Speed limit adjustment
It would be really nice if the speed limit could be adjusted. Unfortunately, for me, the app sometimes displays completely different speed limits than the actual ones. As a suggestion, it would be possible to add the new speed limit with a click on the speed (and have it confirmed by other users). This way, the app is always up to date.

Suicide hotline direct link
A direct link to suicide hotline or form of a helpline for people in a mental crisis. As a retired firefighter and now a part time incident manager I see and have seen many incidents that quick access to something like this may help prevent a life changing event.

"Leave earlier" setting that changes time to leave
Frequently I want to "arrive" 15 minutes early so I have time to find a parking spot, park my car, and then walk to the destination.
Because of this, I'd like to see a feature that allows me to specify an additional amount of time to add to the estimated drive time when determining what time I'll need to leave.
Ideally, there would be a setting to enable / disable the feature, and, when enabled, applied a specified amount of time to every planned drive. There should also be an override on a per planned drive basis.

School districts input feed for updating their annual schedule and hours of operation changes
Since some school districts can have 85 or more zones and many states have over 20 counties ; managing the school holiday and time schedules can be a very big task.
Recommend getting a special feed set up so school districts can update them.11 votes -

Emergency vehicle live intervention alert to clear traffic
Hi Waze Team,
I would like to suggest a feature that could significantly improve emergency response times and road safety.
When police cars, ambulances, fire trucks, or other emergency vehicles are actively responding to an intervention, they could activate a special “Emergency Mode” within Waze (restricted to verified official vehicles only).
Drivers using Waze nearby would then receive a real-time alert such as: “Emergency vehicle approaching – Please clear the way.”The alert could:
- Notify drivers within a certain radius ahead of the emergency vehicle
- Display a visual warning on the map

From WME chance to see previous Street View footage
Currently, only the latest Street View shot can be seen from WME.
It would be interesting to add a button that allows you to switch to previous Street View shots (a bit like you can do on Google Maps).
In this case, it would be very useful to see how a street changes, or, for example, if a building is covered by a construction site, it would be possible to go back to previous shots to be able to see the house numbers covered by the construction site.12 votes -
Linking people
could different accounts link to each other for a limited period, for example, as a family we have a UK-based holiday, all meeting up at the booked holiday home, as we dont live in the same town we dont leave together, but if we linked we could see where they are, and there ETA. Also i know Uni friends that book B&B once a year and meet up all tarvelling from different parts of the country, they could link

SCHEDULE A TRIP IN THE FUTURE
MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO SCHEDULE TRIPS IN FURURE, NOT STRICTPY IN NEXT FEW DAYS ... F.E. Sometimes routes don’t account for closed/restricted roads or HOV/toll preferences correctly, voice directions are inconsistent, and certain app features or settings fail to respond. Even after basic troubleshooting (restart app/device, check permissions), the issues persist. Improvements in these areas would make Waze more reliable and user-friendly.
