Improve road detection while navigating
When navigating along roads that have service/access roads, the navigation will want to enter the freeway/highway/tollway/etc. If the driver stays on the access road or exits onto the access road, Waze does not detect that and keeps the location locked to the planned route. If Waze wants to route you onto a freeway/highway/tollway/etc. and you do not take the on-ramp, the app locks onto the planned route and thinks you are on the highway.

Account for (sporting, concert) events along the route when calculating ETA for planned drives
If you need to be somewhere at a certain time, but there is a sporting event along the way, there will be a lot of event traffic just before & just after the event. Waze could account for this traffic when calculating a planned drive. Then, based on historic data for such an event, Waze could either plan a route that avoids the traffic or it could show the ETA so you could drive past the venue during the event. When driving on the freeway, waze knows where we’re going, if the traffic is much slower ahead, a warning about slowing traffic would be very helpful and provide greater safety.

Driving mode
Waze need a "Driving mode" switch within settings. I'm a Waze user, I use Waze from my car radio 7.5" screen and the only difference is more space for map view. By "Driving mode" is bigger buttons, bigger texts on street names and notifications. While driving you should not need to force reading or hitting a button... It's just an idea that I'm sure will improve a lot Waze usability while driving.

ALERT
Speed Alert sound more volume, different type of speed alarm sounds alerting everytime over the speed limit. A switch to turn warning alarms off and on. SOUND is important when driving because all time the driver will be focusing on the street and not the screen, all alert sounds should have high volume, viz. for speed limit, etc.. should be more sharp, this makes Waze different from other gps navigation sys. and make driving safer. Regular commute notification
Like most of people, I have a regular work schedule, my commute to work is always the same time and route. I do not have to check my navigation app every morning, but when something unusual happens on my route, I think I should be notified.

Botão de Alerta de Burado Mais Fácil
Acredito que o Envio de Alerta "Buraco" seja o mais usado pelos wazer. A frequência de uso no dia é muito alta; sugiro que o Botão "Buraco" tenha um acesso mais rápido, ou seja, ao clicar-se no botão amarelo para enviar um alerta, ele já apareça na primeira página aonde estão: Trânsito, Polícia, Acidente, Perigo...; apareceria também o botão "BURACO". Atualmente é preciso: Botão de Envio de Alerta, Perigo, Em Rota, Buraco. (isso leva tempo, e tira muito a atenção do motorista nesse procedimento).

Use accelerometers and gyroscopes to suppliment GPS data
Use accelerometers and gyroscopes to increase accuracy of location with with virtually no power increase. It would also allow navigation through tunnels and such when GPS location is lost. It would also prevent erroneous movement while stopped at a traffic light. There are companies testing this type of technology. Rotas de risco
Bom dia! Sou usuária deste maravilhoso aplicativo há algum tempo e gostaria de parabenizá-los pela criação. Porém, algumas vezes já ocorreu da rota selecionada me enviar para dentro de favelas e áreas de risco sem nenhum alerta prévio sobre isso!Já passei por situação bastante perigosa numa violenta favela próxima de BH, um atalho indicado pelo Waze. Solicito que integrem com as informações de geoprocessamento de áreas de risco para evitar situações como a de Niterói, com a morte de uma mulher.
Grata pela atenção e certa de que cuidarão deste importante detalhe.

use past traffic statistics when calculating routes
waze could save statistics about average time it takes to pass each street at different times of the day (but only on work days - not vacations or weekends where traffic patterns are different). this past statistics can be valuable when routing - today, waze could lead me through areas that are more congestion prone since at the moment these areas are quite vacant. using past statistics when routing would show that by the time I'll get to these areas, there'll probably be a congestion so other paths might be better.
