Off road GPS
Hi
Waze is very very good! Great GPS!
To be perfect, it should allow saving the GPS track and open them for navigation offroad, like OruxMaps.
Hope it would be possible...

Waze is very sluggish at first. I can drive 1/2 block or more in the wrong direction and then it flips me around to the correct directiion

i just use for navigation and all of these friend and other stupid icons, just confuse the situation. How do I get rid of them? I just want the street lines,etc Just navigation.

Get a different sound when you enter/leave a dangerous area
Now the sound is the same when you enter/leave such an area, so if you don't remember you have to look at your screen to check. With a different sound, no more look necessary ! It is rather easy for programming team : you don't have to write or buy another music, only play it once when going in and twice when going out !

Share other modes of transportation
I would like to share my train ride with my friends so they know when to pick me up. It would also be nice to be able to comment or talk to other folks in the train via waze.

Simple directions
Have an optional exit/route only spoken feature... And instead of saying "stay right to 90 West, Marina Del Rey"... Just say "stay right for 90 West"

Ignore Wifi based location info
Please Ignore Wifi based location, and only use physical GPS data.
It happens when GPS signal lost, than inaccurate Wifi based location info provides location info and it is useless, as there are 3 street in the same wifi range.1 vote -
You need to make it possible to route to intersections by naming each cross street and the city
I wasted an entire day and drove 9 hours to nowhere because waze showed an address in Daily City Ca as if it was in San Francisco. I stopped for gas when I pulled up waze and typed in the address. It showed up along with many entirely inappropriate ones from other states etc. I did not realize that I would have had to scroll down past all of the useless ones to find the address that I needed. The first address looked right and I was in a bad spot to be playing with my phone plus I needed…

Warning when entering a highway without other wazers
I think it would be helpful if Waze would generate a warning when you enter a highway on which no wazer passed in the last 1-2 hours. Otherwise you count on the fact that if there is any Police on that highway you would receive a warning from Waze but since no wazer passed through that area lately you have actually no info related to that road (and you are not aware of that).
Such a warning would force you to drive more careful and avoid speed tickets.1 vote -
More intelligent searching by company name
I love Waze, but there are a few things with search that are not as useful as they could be.
f I search for a name of a company with multiple locations (Walgreens, MacDonald's, etc.) the listings should be by distance, with closest first. It always seems to show corporate HQ, then random locations. For companies with many locations, this means starting a new search.1 vote -

השומר במקום מסביר כיצד להגיע לכניסה הראשית של המוזיאון.ההתראה על פניה ימינה (או שמאלה...) באה קרוב מדי לצומת עצמה (כ-2 מטר
ממנה) ולעתים כבר מאוחר מדי והמכונית חולפת על הצומת.
אם אפשר להתריע לפחות כ-10 מטר לפני הצומת זה היה מצויןהפרסומות הנוכחיות ממש מפריעות לניווט, אין עליהן את הסימן X להסרה,
מספר פעמים, כשלחצנו בניסיון להזיז אותן, זה גדל כמעט על כל המסך,
הסתיר לנו את המפה ועד שהן נעלמו חלפנו על פני צומת שהיינו צריכים לפנות

Sharing hazzards, accidents, etc with the emergency services.
In addition to informing other Waze'ers of hazzards, accidents, we encounter when we log the hazzardetc through the app. It would also be very beneficial to know that what we are reporting, the relivant information gets shared with the Emergency Services. So action can be taken as soon as possible.
Earlier today, I encountered a situation where a truck ahead of me, dropped a tie-down strap, tht had the potential to cause an accident, given it was a hooked kind of tie-down strap.
At the earliest opertunity, I pulled over and called the emergency services to infor of the hazzard.…

Only want "reports" of trouble ahead when "navigating" to a specific destination - not behind
When navigating to a specific destination and checking reported problems it gives the distance but does not designate whether problem is ahead (on my path) or behind. I really don't care about behind me and it makes it confusing. I would at least like the option to select only ahead. Great app and use it a lot.

Speed alarm incorporated or information to be incorporated to automated driving system
I would like to see in my life smart cities where the limit speed is set by Waze users in order to get less acidents and preserve life. Cities will have antenas to spread the real speed limit to automated pilot or driver assistance on the vehicles controling the upper limit of velocity.

US English Pronunciations are Odd
Place names sound weird at times.
Sounds hilarious to be driving from ""Pali-men-oh C-t" to "Muh-leek-a Hill" to the "Commode-door Barry Bridge" on 322 to "west CHESTER" to my final destination of a business called a "Koh".
Oh and also "Deptford" shouldn't sound like "Depped-FORD".
Well at least you have Sewell and Mantua correct. Gloucester is kinda ok.
