Navigation does not default to the closest result
For example, if I'm looking for a local credit union I can tell Waze to search for it, but the result may be something a thousand miles away in New York instead of something in my own county. If I look for a restaurant it may gave me the corporate office in another state instead of one 5 miles away. The problem is exacerbated with the voice dictation system which blocks the results with the keyboard even though you're using voice dictation. Tracking stop signs and stop lights
In addition to "Difficult intersection" it would be very handy for two features:
1) Waze's map to record if there are stop signs (2, 4 way), and lights at an intersection. This would (hopefully) include separate turn signals; some intersections are VERY difficult to turn left at even with a light, for example.2) A setting for navigation (in the app) for "Avoid unguarded turns/intersections". This would then allow a driver to NOT have to turn left across 6 lanes of traffic, for example, as the app would know there was no light at that crossing (or even going directly…

filter places by distance and open.
my idea is to add new filter in the search which will be very helpful for all the clients,
1 - we will ask all the places to put the open time, for example on Sunday we open from 8:00 tell 17:00.
2- new search filter will be added to the clients which will give them the ability to search by category and closed place and open at spastic time.i will give an example:

Automate road closure Report
It is difficult to report road closures in real time - especially on a freeway - because of the approach speed and unexpected driving adjustment. If Waze inquired why I missed a turn/off-on ramp it would be helpful. This is similar to when Waze asks "you slowed down - are you in traffic?" If Waze notices that I missed a turn/off-on ramp it should ask "you missed a turn- was there a road closure ?" This way I can report later ( give me 60 secs) when safe. Search Suggestions
When performing search for any point of interest, Waze returns suggestions as you type. Those suggestions are presented in weirdest order. It doesn't show distance and sometimes can suggest location that is completely different state while in reality there is one close by.

Please add the ability to search for closest poi to my current route.
If I am already driving using your app, I would like the ability to search for food, a bank, or a coffee shop not too far off my route. You guys already calculate the time off route but if you add my suggestion it would make your app that much better.

Allow me to define my daily commute route and show a look-ahead summary of any speed traps or accidents for entire route
When I leave to go to or from work, I would just like to see a summary that tells me if there are any speed traps or accidents along the route. Distance to the incident would be a plus, as would an audible alert when I am within a mile or two. I ride a motorcycle so interacting with the waze app while riding is impossible.

Partner with TV and radio so that they can report what the Wazers are posting.
My area has poor traffic reporting. I think it would to everyone's advantage if radio and tv stations would report directly from what Waze is having posted. They could incorporate this much the same as a weather report.
