Add a full French (Canada) TTS voice with street name announcements
Hello Waze Team,
I would like to formally request the addition of a full Text-To-Speech (TTS) voice profile in French (Canada), including street name announcements.
Currently, only French (France) full TTS voices are available. While they function correctly, pronunciation differences are noticeable for Québec and Canadian place names. This affects clarity and user experience for French-Canadian drivers.
Given that:
- Québec represents a large and active Waze user base,
- Canadian French pronunciation differs significantly from European French,
- Other navigation platforms already support localized French-Canadian TTS,
Adding a French (Canada) TTS profile would significantly improve usability and accessibility for drivers in Québec…

We have the lovely (I say that on my free will) Xal'atath guiding us through the void. But for some that may oppose her attacks on the beloved city of Silvermoon City, I believe we need Lor'themar's voice to guide our way as well!

Sidekicks
Please bring the minions back as a sidekick!! They are my favorite one and always made my day. I use Waze everyday and miss hearing the minions. Thank you!!

This is not my idea, this is something that you’ve already had but a lot of people are missing it. I would love if the minions came back.
Me and many others are really missing the minions voice (based on many, many Reddit threads complaining that it’s gone), I really would love it if you guys could add them back. Thank you!

MP3 upload for custom voices
Having the ability to upload MP3 files instead of recordings would make the audio quality much better and make it more customizable. I know others have already made this suggestion, but there is strength in numbers.

SIDE KICKS
I really enjoy using the Side Kicks feature — it adds a bit of fun and personality to the drive, and it’s something many of us look forward to. The only challenge is that the current set of around 10–15 voice‑overs starts to feel repetitive quite quickly, even on shorter journeys.It would be wonderful to have a larger library of phrases or more variety in the voice‑overs, so the experience stays fresh, engaging, and enjoyable over time. I think a broader rotation would make a big difference for regular drivers who rely on Waze every day.

Add Greek TTS
Although there is a Greek Voice it doesn't support street names. Adding a Greek TTS voice could do that easily. I think Google has a Greek TTS but has not enable it in Waze which would be great.
