Polygons in WME should just be a thick border instead of a full fill
To allow for easier interaction with polygons and segments & places inside polygons, change the polygons to be a thick border instead of it being a filled polygon.
With the expansion of features that include many polygons beyond just places (JBs, Permanent Hazards, Natural features, etc), it would make it much easier to work with these shapes.OpenStreetMap does this very well.

Please make the size of the speed limit sign adjustable and make it look like a real speed sign specific for each country.

Can you please add lighted intersections like google maps?
Put a traffic light icon at intersections with them like google maps. I don't like google maps but do like, and find, that feature is very helpful

Zou het mogelijk zijn om de snelheidsmeter onderaan in het midden weer te geven bij route begeleiding met gsm in horizontale stand ? Ik ben genoodzaakt om de gsm in horizontale positie te gebruiken op de moto, in horizontale stand wordt de snelheidsmeter vaak overschreven door de melding van de volgende afslag

In the uk, nobody thinks in feet when driving, can we have the option of yards please

Traffic Light Indicator
Show traffic light icons at intersections. When you are in a location that you're unfamiliar with, it helps to know if your upcoming turn is at a traffic signal or not. It is perhaps the easiest differentiator between all possible turns on roads that have traffic lights.

I think it would really help having a road speed sign up at all times on the display there are a lot of streets that go for kms with no signage

Decouple map display from light sensor
The current version of Android Waze always uses the information from the light sensor to display dark or light mode. My car doesn't have a light sensor (even though it is a 2023 model). Therefore, my map display is always dark, making it very hard to see in bright sunlight. Could you make it possible for users to select whether to use the information from the light sensor or not? Thank you!

Arrival time zone adjustment
The arrival time estimate should be in the destination time zone rather than the current one. All other mainstream map solutions account for this.

Separate "Show compass" from "Always show map controls"
It is 2024-04-03 now. Some time ago the "Show compass" option disappeared from "Settings" / "Map display" / "Quick access". Now the compass is shown on the map only when "Always show map controls" is enabled. The old behavior was better. The new behavior adds unnecessary clutter.
My goal is to see an information. I have no intention on controlling the map while driving, so map controls are useless for me.
Please restore old behavior.

Scrolling at CarPlay map
When I put first letters of destination address, and want to choose right route, keyboard is enlarged and the space between keyboard block and field for typing is very small.

Show which side of the street the location is on when you turn onto it
I would love for Waze to show which side of the street the location is on when you turn onto the final street. This would be especially helpful when there are two lanes to the road and you need to know which lane to be in.

It would be really useful to be able to increase the size of the speed limit sign as this is consistently the hardest part to read when driving.n

Option to warn about " environmental protection"
So here in Lithuania, the "banana" country, a new law article change was approved which allows "environmental protection ministry" to stop cars and check their emissions. Should your vehicle emits too much, they invalidate your technical car inspection and fine three digits. We need an option to warn other people about these scums.

Color Change for Accident Blips
You need to change the color of the Accident blips. They are the most important issue with regards to traffic jams or serious congestion, yet you let them blend into the background by making them gray. Please change them to a brighter color. As they are now, you are basically hiding them.
