Stop routing traffic down quiet residential streets
Your app has a very narrow focus. It doesn't take the actual street or the people that live on it into consideration. I have lived on a very quiet residential street until your app has increased in popularity. Thanks to your app, our street is now like a mini-highway and two neighbor pets have recently been killed. Additionally, your ignorant app doesn't take into consideration that it is directing traffic to take a very dangerous left turn onto Briarcliff Road. The results have been numerous accidents. Please take Stephens Drive, 30329 off your cut throughs at once.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Leonia NJ would love this. Just saw they have to dispatch police to block streets during rush hours because residential streets are used as cut throughs for non-residents.
Why not reach out to local PD, create an city/zip account and allow them to schedule traffic patterns for their jurisdiction that supersede routing protocols?
Probably like a limited admin account your staff has, restricted by zip code.

Please remove the Embry Hills neighborhood as an alternate route for traffic. These cut-thru drivers do not respect the people who live in the neighborhood. They run our stop signs, block our driveways, pass other drivers (on our little residential streets!), drive through our yards, etc., etc. We are working very hard to make our streets safer but this WAZE app continues to make our efforts an uphill battle.

Please remove us. All statements below are accurate. The streets cannot handle the volume and it is a danger to our children.

The waze drivers make it impossible for me to get home from work on time and get my kids to evening activities. On more than one occasion, I've seen them run stop signs and put me and my family in danger. Please remove us from rush our routes.

Waze has caused an unreasonable and dangerous nuisance within our neighborhood streets due to their traffic rerouting algorithm. Please remove Embry Circle & Alton Rd from all future routing.

Too many kids in the neighborhood 3/4 of the streets no
sidewalks ,narrow roads that were designed and built in the mid 50s, people speeding through just to save 5mins. Residents in the neighborhood cannot leave to get to the main road because of the backup of cars cutting through .Please remove the app.as a cut through . -

Ever since you app came on the scene, our neighborhood streets have become overrun with cut through traffic. Some evenings 50 cars creeping bumper to bumper down Embry Circle and Shabromat. Residents get trapped in their driveways. It's a mess. Please remove us!

Please remove Embry Circle, Alton Road, and Embry Hills Drive from Waze's rush-hour cut-through routes. Since the advent of Waze, traffic congestion in our neighborhood has become a nightmare, posing a danger to our children, pets, and pedestrians. It's become a huge imposition, and a huge inconvenience, negatively impacting our enjoyment of our own neighborhood. Waze MUST curtail the use of these cut-through routes, or risk the future ill-will of many concerned residents.

As a 15-year resident of Alton Road, I have witnessed cut through drivers run stop signs on several occasions. Many residents walk the neighborhood and there are many children playing outside. Needless to say this is a dangerous combination. I agree with everything posted in all the other comments posted to date. Please remove this neighborhood from the rush hour routes.

I live at the corner of Alton and Embry Cir and watch cares barrel through the stop sign without slowing down a bit. This is so dangerous. That intersection is also a school bus stop with kids waiting morning and afternoon. We do have speed tables now, but once cars clear the last one you can hear them punching the gas to speed up TOWARDS the stop sign to blow through it.

Speed tables have been installed on Embry Circle and Alton To help with speeders but the volume of traffic is still incredible. Local police have increased their patrols as a number of cars have been broken into and some homes have been burglarized.

Please remove our neighborhood from your recommended routes. Traffic is truly awful during the evening rush hour putting children and people walking their dogs are at risk.

Please, please, please remove our streets. You have destroyed our neighborhood from 330 until 7 or 8 pm with this traffic!!! I can't get out of my driveway without coming to a dead stop in any direction with lined up cars. Don't even get me started on the speeding. I'm terrified to step into the street to open my mailbox on most days. We don't have sidewalks through most of the neighborhood so it has been a ridiculously unnecessary intrusion on our needs to walk and just live peacefully in our own neighborhood.

Please add Embry Hills Drive to the streets in Embry Hills that we, as homeowners and neighbors, would like to have removed from Waze rush hour routing. Just last week, Waze was routing traffic from one side of Embry Circle to the other, down Embry Hills Drive -- ostensibly to avoid one side of Embry Circle because of a slowdown on that specific side of Embry Circle.

I am shocked that a navigation company would route traffic through any neighborhood. At the stop sign at Embry and Shabromat, none of the cars turning right to go back onto Henderson Mill stop for the stop sign and the cars trying to turn left pull into the intersection waiting to turn, which blocks people turning left off of Shabromat. Please stop directing traffic through our neighborhood. I would be curious to see if any of the owners of WAZE have their neighborhoods marked as cut through zones...

As an Alton Road resident, I can’t stress how dangerous these cut through drivers are. They have no regard for stop signs, speed limits, or children on bicycles. Recently, my son crashed into the neighbor’a bushes to avoid being hit by a car.
Please, remove our neighborhood.

Agreed. When I was nine months pregnant and crossing in a cross walk, was nearly run over - the driver didn't stop for the stop sign and had the nerve to honk at me. In addition, traffic is now so backed up that I must now leave my home 15 minutes earlier to pick up my kids from school because our neighborhood is now so congested with cars coming from outside the neighborhood to cut through main roads.
