Selective notification muting
Add an option to disable individual notifications, like for an example, pot hole notification muting

The "reports ahead" tab seems to show everything along the road.
This adds noisy information on long trips with no value.is it useful to know there is a missing sign 130 miles away, or a car stopped 160 miles away?
Instead, filter alerts based on distance.
Something like (illustrative, not meant to be exhaustive):
>150 miles away: nothing
< 150 miles away: heavy traffic
< 50 miles away: fog
< 25 miles away: police,
< 10 miles: everything -

Allow Users to mute certain functions. Such as “car stopped and shoulder ahead”.
There’s 3-4 cars tagged a mile where I live. #annoying

Currently (2021) unless I mute all road warnings/alerts goodies sound with a VERY loud sound. Much louder than the alerts.
I don't want any sound alerts that aren't road related. But according to technical support there is no way to silence them.
So suggesting: Ability to mute goodies separate from alerts.

It was foggy on the way to work today. So every mile or two for 45 minutes I got a fog alert. It would be great if you could press and hold Thanks! to get another option for muting Fog alerts (or whatever) for 5, 15, 30, 60 minutes. That way you acknowledge the alert and mute them for a certain period of time. This would apply to construction and other alerts also.

Have a mode where Waze will display alerts in a large red box with large letters on the screen(s) and possibly a short beep, but will not interrupt the music volume. Alerts will still attract the driver's attention, but will allow the music to carry on with the DJ. :)

Vehicle on shoulder ahead gets extremely annoying especially on long drives - it would be nice to mute this alert

On my waze the railroad crossing notification was a loud annoying bell sound now I see they have come up with railroad crossing ahead which is better but I still get the annoying notification sound once and a while

The new feature where it notifies an upcoming railroad crossing is annoyingly loud. Can you add the possibility to decrease/mute the volume for those notifications? Thank you.

It would be great to have the ability to mute certain alerts on a stretch of road. For example, everyday going to work, I drive through 4 construction sites. They are going to be there for the next couple of years. Being able to mute just those construction sites instead of all construction sites would be really helpful. Similar would be to be able to mute a pothole on a road that you travel regularly.

"Vehicle stopped on shoulder" is a totally useless notification. I would prefer not getting those.

It would be nice to be able to mute the notification but still have the map directions play.

Add the ability to ignore and/or silence certain warning types posted by certain users or temporarily silence warnings. One night while driving home my podcast kept getting interrupted every 30-60 seconds with pothole hazard warnings even though there were no potholes, because apparently some idiots think that the slightest bump in the road is a "pothole" worthy of reporting (and they're probably trying to rack up points).

No time added communication is particularly annoying. If the time changes, why not just change the ETA briefly to red to indicate a slow down. You can turn it to Green if it speeds up again

Join the club ... search in the box to your right for "Please provide an option to turn off the "car stopped on shoulder" warning." and vote for that one... That one is currently in the first 30 most voted suggestions.

This way you can see hazards or goodies pop up but let ones of your choosing not interrupt your music and such.

Please either get rid of weather reports or give an option to mute them. Most likely if I'm driving I know the weather and don't need to keep hearing it ever few mins that it's snowing when I see it.

I want a master Mute that completely and totally shuts off all audio from Waze. While I'm driving and listening to podcasts, I do not want Waze to make any sounds of any kind at any time. A simple Mute would suffice.
