If yoi dont have the means to show people how to disable the popups stop posting. They get it. You dont like the pop ups now stfu and stop spamming the post. Only post if you have a way to disable the pop ups.
Let the next person be the one to provide a solution of hpw to disable the popups

J'aime bien l'application et je l'utilise. Hier j'ai reçu deux pubs non désirées et cela m'a distrait de l route, ça me paraît plus ou moins sécuritaire. Est-ce qu'il y a moyen de procéder autrement ?

I like the app and use it. Yesterday I received two publicity unwanted in a shot amount of time. It distracted me from the road so I'm worried regarding the safety. Is there another way to proceed ?

I accidentally clicked a pop up without realizing it on my way to my new job. This was during rush hour traffic, and it took me on a FIFTEEN MINUTE DETOUR before I realized I wasn't where I was supposed to be. I'm lucky I even made it 5mins before my shift. I have to constantly swipe the ads away because I'm new to Dallas, and I have no idea where I'm going once I get into the city. They take up half the screen while I'm trying to navigate spaghetti junctions and large, complicated intersections. Apple maps would take me through stop & go traffic more often than not, but I've NEVER had this problem with them. I'm deleting this app.

Still happening in January 2019. I am more than disappointed. I am pissed off and astonished that the bean counters and marketers at Waze have totally destroyed the value of the Waze directions by popping up a full page promotion for a peripheral Waze service that no one wants to see while they are driving and cannot be easily swiped off the screen. This happened to me during a complicated navigation in an area with which I was unfamiliar. I had to stop and totally reset the iPhone and reestablish navigation. Why, why do apps with good function and happy customers so often insist on ruining their reputation with a screwball marketing effort?

Agree, it sometimes interferes with view of turns and road. Which is very dangerous while riding on my motorcycle! Please offer a paid ad free version or the ability to disable ads, please!

I agree. The pop-up ads are very dangerous. I've deleted Waze now, giving CoPilot a go, seems much better.

Proibir anuncios que bloqueie a tela. Isto é ilegal e perigoso. Se estou dirigindo não posso manusear o aparelho de fone (lei), se não posso manusear, como faço para desbloquear a tela? Ou como faço pra seguir a rota se a tela esta bloqueada. Afinal o Wase é um aplicativo para se usar quando esta no transito, portanto, totalmente incoerente.

Agree - was in Vegas trying to get to the airport and had a pop up come up asking if I want to drive there - I said yes thinking it was for my route to the airport when instead it was to a resort. Almost missed my flight as I drove several miles in the wrong direction. Removing Waze and going back to google maps!

Same with me on motorcycle. I will just not use Waze and use Scenic instead.

Please stop the adverts popping up whilst driving. It's dangerous and highly annoying.

While driving through a maze of highways in Fairfax VA a pop up add came on the screen and I could not see the map. This was very disturbing and caused distracted driving.
