Heads up Display (HUD)

make an heads up display icon so that the user can place it on their dash and the reflection will show up on the windshield.. for night time driving whee it is safer to stare closer to the road versus looking down...other apps use this idea but they dont have the GPS ability..it will set waze apart from all other GPS systems..and make it look extra cool!

    Dittos to most comments. HUD as WAZE app or work with VIZR. Preferably WAZE since VIZR seems to have some technical problems that WAZE could solve.

    why isn‘t any waze developer answering to this request?
    Seems like the community really want‘s it.
    Please give us a HUD mode or at least a mirror button.

    I was given a HUD display glass for my car and I want to use WAZE as other apps aren't anywhere near as good. Unfortunately I'm back to using inferior apps if I want to use my ever so handy HUD. WAZE... Make this happen.

    As a long time Waze user I totally agree. Not sure of what it would take to add that capability but believe it would be welcomed by many.

    All that would be needed is to be able mirror/flip the Waze application so it can be used on mirror rather than the apps that come with the HUD products which are substandard compared to Waze

    I wouldn't think that you'd even have to change the underlying code to start with, just mirror the screen and have done with it.
    That would be better then what we have at the moment.

    Very important feature. A pity if I have to Switch WAZE for another application because I waze is the best nav. app. around/

    AGREED, HUD mode is a plus. Why is waze missing this????? just found an android app that has it hudway go. But i really want it on waze.

    HUD option to mirror the display, for safety ! always eyes on the road.
