A way to delete my own report.
My idea is... A way to delete my own "report". I placed a report by mistake and wanted to take it off but couldn't!

Of course!! We need a delete/edit/replace button for our own report. I usually report police after passing them and can't put the right location...

Agreed. Stupid design to not allow you to edit and remove your own reports, especially speed traps. Example, I see one on the way to the store, but after I return from the store and travel back the same way, they may be gone. Doesn't it make sense to simply remove it so others are not confused by what would appear to be a faulty post? Cleaner data is better data. My guess is that they are not allowing it to make it "appear" that there are more reports from people, even when some reports are no longer valid.

I accidently marked my house on a private dirt road as a cop and now I'm afraid some spycho will think a cop lives here and try to take me out

It's ridiculous that you can't delete a mistake - I placed a marker in the wrong place, as I'm still not familiar with the app. Surely it would be easy to add the ability to long press on the marker to delete the report?

How do you make a report from another location? It keeps defaulting to my present location.
I can't make a report while I'm driving! -

Still no way to delete a bad alert if I created it? Only bad thing I see so far

I find that often I file a traffic congestion report only to have the situation clear up a minute or two later. It would be great to either have an option to remove the last reported incident, or have a button that says "Traffic flowing normally" (or something like that).

I agree and I will vote for it wherever I could so for the developer to understand that this is a necessary feature: ability to delete your own report (no matter what is it) and for the 'Not Here' button to stay longer on the screen so I can hit it after I pass the police or whatever.

This is a necessary feature. Having it go away in time is not acceptable. I don't want a single person put out by my mistake.

Sure would make waze more accurate if users could delete accidental reports!

when a hazard or police are no longer at that location, allow users to say that item is expired.

Ditto, very frustrating to not be able to delete a report I submitted that is on the wrong location (newbie mistake)

Sometimes the map issue I just reported was incorrect or I hit the wrong button. It would be nice if I could go back and edit or delete it.

Not necessary. If it is a map problem report, you just need to log into the editor, find the report and mark it solved and close it.
If it is a traffic hazard report, it will go away after a while because no one will confirm it.
