A way to delete my own report.
My idea is... A way to delete my own "report". I placed a report by mistake and wanted to take it off but couldn't!

I agree why can't we delete I just placed accident at my house because I saw 3 accidents on way home that occurred on the highway and I thought I could put them when I got home because a cop was behind me and I didn't want to touch my phone you know hands free Georgia

Once a report has been cleared (i.e. police, stalled car removed, etc), driver should have the option to delete that report.

I agree. Sometimes one just hits the wrong button.

A simple undo button should do the trick that disappears after 10 secs would be great :)

Same scenario here.

Notifications arise saying police ahead but they have since moved on. A button to update in real time dismissing this false positive would be great

I accidently reported an accident while stationary in a car park !! Very annoying how you can’t remove it as it gets you very worked up !!!

If a vehicle has been stationary for more than 5 min, they can not edit (add or remove) police, mobile speed traps etc. (Here in Victoria Australia) we've recently had parked police or mobile speed traps remove the marked position off the map they keep the waze app open and when a passing motorists marks it as police sighted they remove it by saying its no longer there.

I had the same problem and would love to be able to delete it. Not able to yet.

Totally agree. I wanted to report police further up the road because I was driving and wanted to report when I got out of the car. Instead it ended up where I got out. Couldn't figure out how to report further away.

Add a delete and not helpful button to reported items.
Currently the only time I have found you can delete a reported item is when you are alerted to said report. I feel it would be a good addition to add a delete and not helpful option to all reports. Meaning, when you touch a report to open it; you not only find the ability to add comments and give a thumbs up, but also a tab to delete/remove and also possibly one to say it was not helpful.

Waze used to allow adding comments to reported police sightings. Including previous reports. When I asked Waze about this, their response was it is no longer supported. Probably was cutting into their monthly quota — shame on you Waze for bowing to the police. I thought you were interested in your customer's needs. You must bring back the ability to provide comments on on-road situations that may require more details to our fellow Wazers.

Yes! I was looking for the PD in my area an inadvertently reported a police presence in front of my house. How do I delete it?

Yeah so I was just testing the Google feature to report police, now it shows cops at my house. Awesome.

I reported a hidden cop who then started to leave by the time l hit "send." There's got to be a way to cancel a report. As previously suggested by others below, it would also be nice to be able to report something from a location you no longer are in. Example: there was traffic due to an accident and l didnt want to add my own accident or make the traffic worse by sitting there trying to report it so others can avoid the area. l would have liked to report it after l left the scene, from a safer location. l guess this opens up an issue of people reporting something from too long ago, so maybe there should be a time limit
