I consider this function extremely necessary, perhaps with a yellow color when you are close to the limit, and red beyond that limit

We really need this feature, together with the color changing from green to red and viceversa when avg speed is below or over the SL

this is an essential feature, it would also be useful to change the color of the sidebar from green to orange and then red if we approach the average speed allowed

This is definitely a needed feature - there are several average speed check zones on my regular journeys and being able to read my average speed in these zones or have the distance bar on the left indicate green, amber or red if I'm within or creeping above the average speed would be hugely useful.

In a measured speed zone now becoming common in South Australia ("enforcement zones"), would be fantastic if Waze displays the current average speed in a little window alongside the green bar at left of the screen, showing the progress along that zone. If average speed display is below the limit we can speed up, or slow down if it's above the speed limit. (I tried to attach pics of the display but they're over 256kb - I can email them to an address is required).

No additional explanation required, just that the feature is very welcome. Competitor apps use and it comes in very handy, but I'd rather use Waze.

In places like Italy where they use average speed checks, a nice feature would be a timer somewhere on the app that shows if you are running ahead of schedule i.e. too fast, or behind schedule i.e. too slow between the checkpoints.

Wase allread have this function, only need one more option to choose this comparison all time and no only when car speed is over road speed.

When you are in an average speed zone, the green bar which appears showing you how long is left in the average speed zone only work when the phone is vertical.
Please change it so it also works when the phone is horizontal. I know there is less space, but it would still work, even if the bar is smaller.

Please add a feature to record the speed that I go past speed cameras at and also to show (and record) the average whilst going through an average zone, and add a way of reviewing this information (i.e. record per journey). In the uk we have loads of speed cameras and I always wonder if I just went through one too fast.

Whilst travelling through Average Speed Check Zones, I wonder what my average speed actually is... so my suggestion is simply, calculate the average speed whilst travelling through reported average speed check zones and every mile or so... you'll hear an audio message saying 'Your average speed is 67.8mph'...

It would be great to show average speed when driving in an area where there is traject control and the average speed is recorded. This is a very useful function on some speed trap detectors.

Instead of just getting information about traffic jams from users that choose to inform it, why don't getting the real speed from the users GPS? Every segment of the road could have the average speed from the users that are now on that segment.

I'm using Ulysse Speedometer as it tracks miles traveled per day, week, month, etc.. it also will show you average speed on that trip and top speed. This would be a great feature to integrate into the app
