It would be great to be able to report icy roads on waze for fellow wazers.

Would like to see an option to turn-off certain hazards. I live in an area with really bad roads and don't need to be reminded where each and every pot holes are.

There is already another thread. http://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59223-client-how-can-we-improve-waze-on-your-phone/suggestions/4378236-remove-rain-hazard-reporting
Sugest deleting this one

Sometime roads can be icy without the presence of snow. Adding "Icy" to the list of possible weather conditions would be helpful. Sometimes slick roads can sneak up on you. We just passed a bad accident that I posted on Waze that was due to icy conditions that a few miles back didn't seem to be to slick! Thanks for your consideration!

Add Hazard Trafic Light not working.(Huge problem in South Africa)

Could definitely use "water on road" as a hazard!!! Currently I have to use object on road...unexpected water is a much greater hazard.

Another vote for signal not working & for vehicle stopped on road.

better: allow every user to select which alerts to receive or NOT-receive
vehicle stopped on shoulder is NOT occluding the lane
this one "feature" discourages most who try waze on my suggestion

Flood on road report is very important , specially in our country.
People are just reporting it thru MAP chat or i reported it as RAIN and added note to it.
Also, i hope waze will consider this hazards for its routing, i was directed to a flooded road, it might have though it wasnt traffic, because nobody was really able to pass thru it! duh!?

Signal not functioning need to be able to be marked.
Option to capture lane in multi lane road to report object hazard etc.

Pop Up Window for a formation of an emergency lane by accidents, so that all Wazer be informed.
This is also very good advertising for Waze! -

I think in addition to snow / ice warnings a "high wind" warning would be very helpful. I'm from the midwest of the USA and some terrain can funnel winds into intense spots which catches some drives off guard. You'll be driving along just fine, cross through a valley perpendicularly and BLAM! a blast of wind hits you from out of nowhere. It can cause semis to be pushed out of their lanes and REALLY causes problems for amateur drivers driving rental trucks like UHauls.

Those reports sound good.
I think adding snow on the road is welcome in addition to Ice on the road.
For the closed road, it could be interestinf to mark it directly on the map as it could be the road on the left/right and not just ahead as you may discover it when you would like to turn -

Came to second someone else's Hazard for "Stopped Car on Road" or "Stalled Car on Road"

Give us the option to ignore rain and fog alerts. We already know it's raining! Ice/hail/etc are useful. Rain and fog are not. People obsessed with points will over report this stuff.

Like a few of the suggestions more than others:
Hazard > On road > Stopped Car
Traffic Lights out> Manned by Traffic officer to assist flow or not.
Traffic Lights Out> Manned /Unmanned
Would also like ability to add Road closed from further away. I may not pass an intersection if I know it's closed but would still like to inform other wazers so the route does not direct them to a closed intersection. -

In Brazil it is very important
Police -> Mobile speed cams - REALLY important because very often users junk up map by reporting mobile speed cams as SpeedCams witch stay there forever..

If you're going to add flood alerts, please consider how to mark variations on depth, especially on whether a flood is passable to light vehicles or not. Gutter deep, tire deep, etc. I live in a sad place where waist deep happens often, and even stories deep is possible in the span of an hour.

Yes!!!! for ice. Yes!!!! for flooding. Yes!!!! for vehicle stopped ON ROAD (critically more important than on shoulder).
IMO, speed bumps and other intentional "road furniture" are already marked by the highway authorities.
