Add options for Siri shortcuts
Apple provides very basic shortcuts for directions, but it would be great to see more Siri Shortcuts from Waze itself, such as add stops
Great news! The feature to do shortcuts using Siri is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

The Siri Shortcuts are great but reporting of hazards with a Siri short cuts would be very useful. Others such as save location would also be nice.

Making a report while driving is very intrusive as you have to select what part of the road it is on, and what type of incident/report it is. Allowing these reports to be made via siri would make it safer, encouraging more users to report incidents.

Yes, that would be an important fix. I would like to add that when the phone is locked, the "hey siri drive home" command, as in the example, if I wait and do not start the navigation with a touch, it sometimes starts, but if I start it with a touch, it does not start with a "something went wrong" notification.

Siri command such as "hey Siri, drive home" which used to always work, no longer does so in latest Waze update. iOS 16.2. It now displays "Something went wrong" dialog box, but touch-activated shortcuts still work. Can we please have a fix for this important hands-free feature?

Siri shortcuts on iOS (and I assume equivalent on Android, too) would benefit from adding one for “cancel route” - something you can say as your journey home hits familiar roads and you no longer need it.

Add Siri Shortcuts for announcing hazards/police…

Suggest an option to over write an existing shortcut in Waze when the popup says shortcut already exists. See explanation as to why below.
Not sure how it happened, but some how I created about 10 shortcut phrases that are already taken per Waze Siri shortcut feature and there is no existing entry in Siri Shortcut. For example, I wanted to add "Drive Home" shortcut, but it says it is taken, but there is no entry that exists that I could delete. So I had to add "Drive to Home".

Please make Siri work with your app. I really enjoy using it but I am unable to follow the laws by “ being hands free” if I have to minimize Waze in order to make a call or text someone.

Allow to make a Siri Shortcuts (Automation) to Share my Drive with a selected person when I start my route Home (for example).

Waze users should be able to verbally open Siri when using Waze. It makes little sense for an app that is used while driving to require you to take your eyes and one hand off the road and wheel in order to cancel Waze and get Siri up.

I use a Bluetooth headset to listen to Waze and also send/receive text messages. Often, I am dictating a message or Siri is reading one to me and Waze interrupts. It would be great it there was a setting that stopped all Waze audio if Siri is activate.

This has now been added, and it now needs to override Waze's suggestions that tend to pop up when opening the app.
It's rather odd to have Waze suggesting a destination at the top while showing a calculated route at the bottom.
Perhaps the Siri shortcut can give the app some indication it was used so that the app can decide not to further suggest destinations.
Thank you

Would be nice to use hey Siri to manually recalculate upon voice demand. I know that there are sometimes I manually recalculate and it give me a better route. Would be nice to just ask Siri to recalculate so we can keep our eyes on the road.

Yes this recent change is really annoying!
NB You can still access SIRI by pressing the Home button and after you finished with Siri just say "Hey Siri, Open Waze" and Waze will reopen for you. You can also open WAZE from the outset using SIRI, and call up SIRI again within a certain period of time too, i think! -

Last update disabled "HEY SIRI" feature of iOS Software while Waze is in foreground. I used this feature all the time while driving but now cannot because it no longer works when Waze is being used.
Please fix ASAP
