Mobile speed camera
You should add the capabilities to report Mobile speed camera and in Waze editor, to add the zone length and be alerted when entering this zone from any street.

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Can you change the way a hidden police trap is removed. Currently it seems only one person needs to say it is gone and it is removed from the map. What we are seeing is police setting up a hidden speed trap and one cop constantly tells Waze it's no longer there every time a motorist adds the speed trap - purely so they can make more money (here they fine you $100 for doing 3km/h over the posted limit!)
Can you change it so that at least two or more people have to state its gone before removing it. Likely the cops will then open two accounts and still do it. Alternatively you may have a better alternative.
Keep up the awesome work, love the app and have been using it since inception in 2006!

Hi Waze. Reporting 'current mobile camera ' locations does not seem very reliably done by australians....so why not introduce a feature which highlights a density pattern of the locations speed cameras HAVE EVER been reported. eg red for fixed cameras as they are always there....to yellow where they are only occasionally reported .
I think this will work because police do seem to have their favorite trapping spots that catch out people unfamiliar with the area ( and locals dont mind them and often wont notify or flash oncomers . Its an australian thing . go figure)
Cheers

Is there a project of integration of mobile speed cameras at all?
I am from the state of Victoria in Australia.
As a result of receiving a few fines due to inattention in areas where an unmarked vehicle was operating a speed camera, I thought of looking up the locations online, and I found this.
https://www.camerassavelives.vic.gov.au ... -2019.xlsx
It's a spreadsheet where all (alas past) locations of speed cameras were authorized by the local police.
I am at this stage digging into it with government officers to find out if we can access to the archive to be able to see if yes or no the locations are always the same, and if only the dates of autorisation is the only variable, which is possible as I think it would be a hassle for them to find new spots all the time.
If it is found that the dates are only a variable, then it would be possible to run a script that would enter automatically the spots where these unmarked vehicles can be attending and send a signal to the Waze user of the type of "Reported mobile speed camera site ahead" or would it not?
Let me know if this is possible or if you guys have already looked into this (I take it that it would not be available only in the countries that are giving access to such publications)
Cheers

It would be useful to enable the users to add a mobile speed camera.

There is an app called 'WA Speed Camera Alerts' already available in App store ( recently it's been removed from google play store but it may available again at anytime). I am not associated to it but I used it & found it useful.

Today we saw a flash from what turned out to be a very well concealed speed camera that was not reported on waze. I have just discovered that the Police force (here in WA) publish the locations of their mobile speed cameras, in terms of the road and the suburb that it is in. I think it would be a great idea if this information could be uploaded, and if Waze could introduce a feature that announced the possibility of a mobile speed cameras in the area by allowing the map to change colour. The link is here - https://www.police.wa.gov.au/Traffic/Cameras/Camera-locations

I travel every day on a particular route and particular time and I don't want to open my Waze app to see what is traffic while going as I will be busy and I forgot to open and get in to freeway. After I get in, there is no way to get out and o stucked. If I get an mobile message or a call alert to tell me a 5 mins before my planned scheduled to start time that my regular route have an accident or total travel time so I can understand and change the route in advance.

In Western Australia, mobile speed camera locations & dates are published every week in the https://www.police.wa.gov.au/Traffic/Cameras/Camera-locations in PDF format. (Other states might be having similar links)
NSW & ACT states : http://roadsafety.transport.nsw.gov.au/speeding/speedcameras/current-locations.htmlIf these locations can be marked & highlighted in the Waze app it will be more help full for the users.

Hello,
In countries where is not prohibited to know where the police spots with laser guns / mobile radar equipment (Spain, Hungary, Romania etc.) it would be nice to have Radar not just Police, among the reporting categories.
Thanks!

Is there any option to.
1. Alert you to mobile camera zones
2. Warn you of cameras even if you're not exceeding the limit
-
Rafael commented
The modern radars have ranges of 2km, the app must have option to issue warning in advance.
