Suggestion to add 'vehicle stopped in lane' in the 'hazard on road' option.
I often encounter vehicles stopped in the lane on the interstate as well as the surface streets. It would be helpful to have an option to report that hazard just as you can report a vehicle stopped on the side of the road. This would definitely help drivers so that they are aware and prepared for that hazard.
Great news! The option to report a stalled vehicle is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

Almost every day, Waze tells me "vehicle stopped on road ahead", but 9/10 times it should've been a "vehicle stopped on shoulder" report, put there by someone clearly confused about the difference between "on road" and "on shoulder". I think this confusion could be resolved by changing the report label and voice prompt to "vehicle blocking lanes". Thank you!

Too many broken down cars on the interstate/highways that sit for weeks in SC! I repeatedly get the hazard vehicle stopped alert . Traffic is awful so I don’t want to turn it off bc it’s useful when a car breaks down & is stopped ON the road vs. abandon on the shoulder.
Can this be an option? -

Still waiting for my "Frequently Used Keys(FUKs)"! I am one of your most dedicated Waze users! If someone reports a stopped vehicle in the wrong spot(reporting it when they see it, not initiating the report AT the spot as they pass it), I'll mark it "not there", and then report it where it ACTUALLY is!
Along that line, I need "unlimited reporting power"!! I try and make Waze as spot on accurate as possible, and sometimes I get the message I've "reported/posted too much"!?! If they're there, I report it!
Also, need an "all clear" for traffic. I can report it getting worse, but not better??
I would LOVE to come out there and work with R&D on an upgrade for a few days!! -

Too many steps to report vehicles on the side of the road, an extremely dangerous hazard and most common. Yea, they are on the side, but someone could step out of the car, or someone could be changing a tire on the traffic side or even a distracted driver slamming into the back of a stopped vehicle. Should be press the yellow button then a button immediately for a vehicle stopped on side of road.

Add a report for a stopped 18 Wheeler, so people can know the difference between and 18 wheeler and a car

For years, we were all irritated by shoulder hazard notifications. Finally, we were allowed to silence them, but now there’s a new problem:
There is now (recently) only “Vehicle Stopped,” “Hazard on Road,” & “Hazard on Shoulder.” All Stopped Vehicles are ASSUMED to be on the road. Wazers are reporting vehicles stopped on the shoulder & I’m getting notifications, even though I’ve disabled shoulder notifications! We need to be able to choose between 4: vehicle road, vehicle shoulder, hazard road, & hazard shoulder).

It’s worse than that. There is now (recently) only “Vehicle Stopped,” “Hazard on Road,” & “Hazard on Shoulder.” All Stopped Vehicles are ASSUMED to be on the road. Wazers are reporting vehicles stopped on the shoulder & I’m getting notifications, even though I FINALLY can disable shoulder notifications! We need to be able to choose between 4 (vehicle road, vehicle shoulder, hazard road, hazard shoulder). There is another suggestion for this enhancement.

For example the notification comes on that a vehicle is on the shoulder or blocking a lane of travel.
Why can't that alert be refined to inside or outside lanes -

The latest update to the Android app (version 4.8.0.2) no longer includes "on road" or "on shoulder" when the vehicle stopped warning pops up. Instead, it just displays "vehicle stopped on...". This is not helpful, since many freeways have multiple lanes and wide shoulders, so it's only really important to know when it's an on road stop. Please change it back to display the entire sentence.
Another suggestion is to separate the warning filters for on road and on shoulder so we can just get the on road notice, and to allow us to list which lane a vehicle is stopped on, using the number system (furthest left non-HOV lane is #1, 2nd farthest left is #2, etc).

this used to exist until v4.x for iOS. vehicle on shoulder is beneficial for some roads where the shoulder is narrow to alert drivers to move over and should be kept but having the ability to report vehicle stopped on road is also important. it is possible to have a vehicle stopped in a lane.

Having a tab like vehicle stopped on road or something similar. but just one touch instead of a few touches. A bit like tomtom had where you could edit home screen.

In entering where a situation is, police, stoped vehicle, it would be great if an in the median selection was available. All too often the police will be sitting in the median, Also stopped vehicles will be on the left side of the lane, along the median.

There is no option for reporting a vehicle stopped in the lane if traffic. Adding the "vehicle stopped on road" tag would help when submitting a road hazard.

It would be very helpful to add even left lane, middle lane or right lane for road reports (typically hazard) 'on road' when traveling on multilane interstates. That would avoid texting. similar to selecting my side or other side, but I would suggest not a default, since this really only pertains to multilane roads.

Allow user to enter hazard not in existing choices. Waze can accumulate most used ones and add them to the list. e.g. Vehicle stopped ON road (not shoulder)
