Ability to select the types of hazards to enable/disable
Sometimes, certain hazards are not very helpful and are more of a distraction than anything. For example, vehicles stopped on the shoulder, weather, and missing sign are not very important and I dismiss them every time I see it. At times I feel like disabling hazards altogether.
Great news! The ability to disable individual alert notifications is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

Please allow us to disable the annoying rain alerts. I don't need to have my music interrupted several times to announce that it's raining. Anyone with a window can see it's raining. Or, perhaps disable it in locations where it's not necessary. That would be most locations.

The only alerts I want are for police, red light cameras, visibility, & hazard in road. Please add the option to silence all other alerts.
"Rain reported ahead"
"Vehicle on shoulder ahead"
"Hazard on shoulder ahead"
These and ones like them are all virtually useless alerts. These traffic events may slow traffic, but it doesn't change anything.I would like you to add an "essential alerts only" mode, which only warns of police, fog/rain/smoke that is *so* bad that visibility is reduced, red light cameras, and hazards *in* the roadway.
Since I listen to comedy podcasts while driving and because here in the Chicago area there are sometimes as many as 4 alerts per minute, I miss a good portion of the podcasts. I really want to hear only the essential alerts.

Please offer this feature. I drive about 100 miles round trip everyday on the freeways in Southern California. I get this alert about 40 times per day.
It is incredibly annoying. It is also pretty useless. It constantly draws my attention away from the road for something that is about 5 lanes away and nobody cares about.
The only reason so, so many people report it is because they get points for reporting things.

Completely agree! Please provide the option to eliminate vehicle on shoulder alerts. Incredibly annoying. Love the app though!

This is a very needed feature. I have grown to hate the "vehicle shoulder" alert. It never affects traffic for me, and is beginning to be white noise for popping an unimportant notification so often.

Please either get rid of weather reports or give an option to mute them. Most likely if I'm driving I know the weather and don't need to keep hearing it ever few mins that it's snowing when I see it.

Option to disable alerts. Would like to disable vehicle on shoulder alerts. Would be nice to select which alerts gave an audible notification.

I couldn't agree more.

Very much this. There are red-light cameras all over my route, but I already know where they are, so I find the popup annoying. Also, I don't even want to know if I'm in an unfamiliar area, since I don't run red lights.

Allow to disable camera alert. There is popup window and sound which I dont want to see or hear in client app while navigating. There are lot of cameras which users add to map but actually they are not usefull (Driver Feedback Signs). I need lot of space for map not for popup window for "bad" cameras and voting. Cameras can stay be shown on map.

include the type of hazard on the description in the pop up warning. I mute my phone while driving. it would be great to see what hazards are ahead instead of just a general warning.

I want a master Mute that completely and totally shuts off all audio from Waze. While I'm driving and listening to podcasts, I do not want Waze to make any sounds of any kind at any time. A simple Mute would suffice.

Whenever I am at a red light or stopped in traffic, Waze keeps popping up messages from all over the place. They are not helpful to me, they are distracting. Especially when it is reporting things 10+ miles away. (I'm in the city, so 10 miles is a long ways)
I looked though the menus and have tried disabling these screens but they are still appearing.
I posted this on the forms, and there are several others sharing my frustration, so I hope this change can please be added to the next update.
