I just finished making a short film clip about a bicycle race in memory of Chagai Rudrig, who was killed by a driver who ran over him while Rudrig was practicing for a triathlon race. This happened five years ago. His brother suggested adding a "bicycle rider warning" on Waze, but still this has not been implemented. So sad and so tragic!! Please consider this simple and life-saving addition to your app.

Would require addition of bicycle to vehicle types with multiple advantages. First selecting this vehicle type could provide warning that their location will be identified on map addressing privacy issues.

With the recognition of a bicycle and privacy addressed it adds the safety factor to identify bicyclists to users in cars +1 (and of course Waze users could choose to show/not show or turn off these alerts just as they do other hazards or the view other wazers on map)

It also allows Waze to recognize bicycle users who are on the app and disregard the speed information they provide as it will be inaccurate for routing other vehicles +2

Unfortunately its a privacy issue... this can't be done a similar reason why other wazers are not shown in real-time on the map...

It would be nice to add a feature to view real time tracking information from cycling apps like Strava, Garmin etc. This would enable a cyclist who is riding on road to publish his coordinates so that motorists are aware of a cyclist on the road ahead.
