Voice command reports
Sending reports using short voice commands. For example: "waze danger car side of the road"
Great news! Reporting a vehicle on the side of the road using voice is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

Absolutely! And add the option to confirm reports with voice commands! It’s difficult to do both by hand while driving, and nearly impossible on a motorcycle

Please give us the option to, show more routes or report accidents etc. using nothing but our voice again like it did with "ok waze", shutting off such a service is dangerous and illegal, this used to work perfectly but now only works trough some sort of google assistance link in the USA only.

Is there any way to show which lane has heavy traffic? It seems like the whole road will turn red in heavy traffic. You don't really know which lane is backed up unless you are on the road that is backed up.

Audio warning required.
Must apply to stationary traffic on motorway off-ramp as when this tails back onto the motorway (freeway) - suddenly becomes very dangerous. -

Hello,
I think it is quite dangerous to have to use our phone when we are driving to indicate or confirm a danger, accident, police, etc. I think it would be great to be able to let Waze users of anything on the road just by talking to the phone.
Thanks -

It happens some times that you are driving fast in road and suddenly notice that you are very close to a huge traffic jam. In such situation you have to slow down as quickly as possible which can be very dangerous. If Waze informs you before that, it could be very helpful.

Entering hazards while driving causes the driver to become a hazard as one attempts to make the entry on a touch screen and attention is focused on finding the right button(s) to push.

I don't want the users to touch their phones while driving and still can report traffic jams, hazard etc.
My idea is using voice control to do some of this actions -

Warn cars of upcoming stopped/slow traffic like they do in Germany. Count down amount of miles until expected stop. “Approaching heavy/stopped traffic in 3 miles, 1 mile... 600 feet”... etc.

Using voice commands...
Hello Waze - 1 :-> Hidden Cops
Hello Waze - 2 :> Car on shoulder...User configurable, user can assign numbers to actions and invoke by just giving voice command

For each Posted alert, such as "Object on road". "Construction", "Pothole", "Vehicle Stopped on Road", etc, create a voice warning for each situation. There are only 6 reports as of 10/24/18, "Police ahead", "Crash ahead", "Hazard ahead", "Heavy Traffic ahead", "Red Light camera ahead", and "Speed Trap ahead", yet there are 13 current hazards that Wazers can select when reporting. This is a great feature that keeps me aware of what is ahead on the road, warns me to be prepared and ready to take action. AND NOW THAT I CAN RECORD AND USE MY OWN VOICE, OR MY KID'S VOICES for reports-the alerts can be made silly, more enjoyable, & less scary and intimidating!-I really enjoy that feature! As long as Wazers can select which alerts they do or dont want to hear, we can tailor the audio to our desire!

I LOVED this app! I have used it for years and tell everyone about it. As it were, it was SO easy to report road conditions, HANDS-FREE. Since the update that changed the activation from a three-finger double-tap to a three-finger single-tap it ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!! I reported this a couple weeks ago, and yes, I now have the latest update... IT STILL SUCKS!! I get so frustrated that it does not hear me most of the time. I WILL NOT push all the icons to make a report as it is too dangerous. Please revert back to the three-finger double-tap interface and MAKE WAZE GREAT AGAIN!!!

It would be helpful when Waze lets you know to get off an unexpected exit, to let you know the reason why it's telling you to get off. Example, alert, there is heavy traffic ahead, exit right. Sometimes I say that's crazy, but I followed your directions and go around the accident or heavy traffic. It would just be nice to know why the route is telling you to deviate from the norm. I would trust it more.

We all know that once we launch Waze, we should not be interacting while driving. Why not give an option that once we start driving, the system goes 100% hands free (where we can report using "Waze - report accident on passenger's side of highway") implement calling and texting options by voice to include reading text messages back.
I feel this would be a great option and could all be done within reason.
