Be able to interface from your phone like Apple iPhone
I really like your app and use it every day. My frustration is that I use a Samsung Android smart phone (I am not a fan of Apple iPhone's). Apple play works very well with your app. You can control your app from the phone or the car interface (basically the car mirrors the phone). With Android play you can't control the app or view the app from your phone. All interfaces have to be on the car not the phone. Android auto
It's important that to be able to view upcoming directions. I often use this feature on the phone to be better prepared on my trip. Suggested routes are not always clear just from their titles and it can be important to look at the directions for each route to make an informed decision. The fact that you cannot access ways on the phone when in the car makes this feature completely unusable even if you're sitting in your car prior to leaving on your trip or if you pull to the side of the road. Voice Input and HOV Options in Android Auto
Allow for voice input (for stops/searches) while driving and give options for HOV travel while in Android Auto. Having to pull over while on a freeway to add a stop if it is not within your most recent stops is really frustrating and dangerous.

Average speed trajectory control
I use Waze via Android Auto. It would be interesting to also indicate the average speed and the distance on the screen of the car during trajectory control

Old notifications won't go away
Old notifications wont go away after passing them. Newer notifications won't show because the old is still in the screen. Sometimes the same speed camera alert can be on the screen for miles.

Após relatar diversos alertas de buracos nas ruas onda passo recebi uma mensagem dizendo que poderia ser bloqueado por alertas em excesso muito chato isso vou deixair de informar pois faço isso para jaudar o próximo, e nao culpa minha as ruas da minha cidade estarem parcendo o solo da lua.

Sinds gisteren kan ik wase niet meer connecteren met Android auto.
Sinds gisteren kan ik Waze auto niet meer connecteren met Android auto. Auto: Skoda enyaq, telefoon Android V 10.

Allow users to use the speech recognition from Waze rather than using Google Assistant
The problem is Google switched to using Google Assistant which doesn't not work with city names in other countries because somehow someone thought it would be a good idea to do that when Google Assistant only knows 10 languages, most of them being dialects of German, French, or Spanish.
The "idea" is to allow the user to disable Google Assistant and use Waze Speech Recognition (which works quite fine).
This is an Android Auto thing but Google ignores it.

Link Driving Mode to Waze
When I get in the car driving mode is now an option but Google assistant doesn't actually seem to know who I am. If I say Drive me home it doesn't know where home is... Telling Google is pointless as I live in France and all my language settings are in English so it doesn't understand.

Bubble android auto
Hello,
I use Waze for my work.
On the touch screen of the car, when I press on a road it is highlighted in blue but the bubble to press "GO" does not appear as on the smartphone application.

Android auto controls to left side
Currently controls on android auto are all on the right side. You need to overstretch to reach this.if the controls could be shifted left or right so the touch controls are ne near the steering wheel.
