New York City Camera Speed Camera Warnings
In NYC, there are so many speed cameras everywhere. When Waze gives the first warning that a camera is ahead, the driver has so much to focus on, that u can forget once you’re really near the camera. Can you please give us a configurable option for a secondary alert for when the camera is 100 feet away, 50 feet away, etc., if the camera is flashing/relevant for the direction one is driving?

Map & Command more like Google!
PLEASE READ & VOTE!!
Instead of “Turn right / left in .1 miles” (esp. for in-town and city driving) change to Google-like commands (e.g.- “At the next light / stop sign, turn right/left) and SHOW Device - light or sign at corners - on the map, as such - sign or light).
Doing so also helps to know HOW MANY lights or signs remain between you and your next turn.
It’s impractical to watch your mileage in these conditions. It’s more “natural” - as when someone is telling you directions in the passenger seat - to look for the next…2 votes -
Retrospective report submission
The option to retrospectively report an alert for other drivers. Reporting alerts such as collisions, police activity, petrol prices etc can’t and shouldn’t really be done while driving (if driving alone) - but once at a standstill, or at your destination, the option to scroll back down your route and place the alert at the location worth mentioning would be ideal. - the orange button to do so only appears while en-route and your map “centered” using the compass, which takes you away from where you want to report the activity.

There are three very useful things missing to make driving safer: 1. Speed traps alerts if speed limit drops ahead, a warning of change will do. 2. Exit speeds beyond a delta; you might be on 65 limit with short ramp at 25 exit unfamiliar with rain at night is dangerous. 3. Save preferred routes like roads you like leaving your town because of deer, fog, blind turns, or whatever drive your preference without having to put your destination and then a stop to force a route or else reroute messages come at every corner

Restore and add more alert choices and sub-choices - make the last more visible
Hello, Waze. For unknown reason to us, your users, you are lowering the variety of the alerts that could be reported and/or their sub-options. The most striking example is the police reporting option where it is not possible to report a police from the other side. Please restore it. Please, add the following reports:
1) stationary speed camera
1.1) please add a detail about the direction the already added stationary speed cameras are pointing at - towards the incoming cars or at the same direction of the road lane group. Also add this as an option for the ones that…2 votes -
switch alerts to horizontal instead of vertical
Would it be possible to rearrange the "still there/not there" to horizontal instead of vertical. Reason being, roads are not perfectly smooth and when you go to select an option your finger moves up and down with the contour of the road thus possibly selecting the wrong option

Show speed limit and vehicle speed at all times
Please make both the speed limit and vehicle speed visible at all times. Often when the speed limit changes, the speed limit pops up and covers the vehicle speed, which I need to see at that very moment

"Still There" should have a "Close Window" option
When the "Still There" window pops up in Apple CarPlay, I frequently click the button just to make the window go away which results in sending the message that the hazard is still there even if it's not. It would be helpful if the default was "Close Window".

Welcome to XYZ state!
While traveling on the Interstate welcome me to a new state instead of telling me to continue on interstate you are already on! Usually there are no exit anyway because you are crossing a bridge.

pre-warning
if the congestion/queue is far from intersection and will only have an effect later (e.g. 10km or more) but it already known and waze strongly suggest a detour, should be indicated somehow (e.g. a traffic jam icon with distance in km, blinking roadline, etc),
that there is a big traffic jam in that direction in 10km,

Random Snarky Alerts, you use to have something similar Re: “Watchout cemetery ahead, hold your breath wouldn’t want any unwanted spirts taggin along” re: State Line Ahead everyone raise your feet for good luck” “ when nothing moves” I couldn’t repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder. anyway so many lost opportunities here! Average speed alert
The "average speed check zone" alert is too unrelenting. You're listening to your favourite song, or an audiobook, or a podcast, and then the "average speed check zone ahead" starts and it's endless (wouldn't "average speed control" be enough?) and then, 5 seconds later, again, "entering average speed check zone". Enough!! A single, shorter message is enough. Also, every time the alert starts, the volume is lowered, and you have to raise it back again (maybe that's Carplay fault)

Create an option that alerts you by the place being transited
Create an option to enable naming with the name of the neighborhood or place where it is transited, in order to provide a better location, also if different sites are crossed either at urban or metropolitan level from the place of origin to the place of destination, be informed the place where you are transiting

Reminder to Head Home
Hello, I've been browsing through suggestions, and I've yet to see this.
A reminder to head home, so that I always get home at the same time. I try to go to sleep at the same time every night but that can be difficult as it's not always easy to remember how far away you are and how long it will take you to get home.
For example, I want to get home at 9 pm every night. Since my location is always on, maybe Waze could keep track of where I'm at and calculate the time it would take…
