Automatic switch metric/imperial units
Have measurement units change automatically when crossing into a country with a different system. Perhaps include an auditory and visual alert as well.

Change display color for speed when over speed limit
Either enable a multi color speed as noted in suggestions with user enabled trigger for red or change the "over speed" color to yellow or orange. Having color vision issues the dark red against the black box is virtually unreadable. Yellow would be better as is is light color against dark color. The contrast for those with diminished color vision can be critical.

Show blocked and illegal lanes
London, Clapham Park Lane. Bus lane at a junction. There is a left turn lane for buses only. But Waze shows to turn left and does not show the forbidden lane on the map. I had a fine for being in that lane. Please edit the map to show that lane. Possible even a verbal warning to the unwary

Maps in English regardless of current country
I would like to see Waze maps in English regardless of the current location. When traveling through non English speaking counries it's a headache to do map navigation. Voice guide is not always enough.

Receivinag a call while using the app
Hi. I would like to suggest to add a feature to answer a phone call while using the app without exiting from the app. In Google Maps, it's asking to answer or reject the call while app is on the move. If we answer the call, map display will remain and the call is automatically connected to the loudspeaker. Thank you.

I would love if I could increase the size of the text and finer important details on the screen. I hate to have to throw on my readers just to read the speed limit… 🤓

settings for overlay opacity or to move resize overlay items
the screen is too cluttered with large overlay **** you can barely see the map, dont know why they dont have settings to see through them, resize them, remove them or move them.. i want to see the map mostly not a bunch of extra **** and a 1 inch section of the map

Thanks/Not There
Instead of having the alert (example “Vehicle Stopped) and then the two options (Thanks / Not There)… you should have Thanks on top, the alert in the middle, and not there on the bottom. This will reduce accidental misreporting. We’re trying to drive and can’t stare at the screen. Help us help you. 😀

Traffic Light Indicator
Show traffic light icons at intersections. When you are in a location that you're unfamiliar with, it helps to know if your upcoming turn is at a traffic signal or not. It is perhaps the easiest differentiator between all possible turns on roads that have traffic lights.

Arrival time zone adjustment
The arrival time estimate should be in the destination time zone rather than the current one. All other mainstream map solutions account for this.

STOP sign icons at roads with stop signs 🛑
Stop sign icons at roads with stop signs. I often switch to Google maps while in the city because a lot of roads in my city will have no stop signs for 3-4 cross streets, then bam a stop sign. A lot of stop signs are obacured also. The city doesn't keep up with keeping them visible.

Fontsize wazer preference adjust.
Why not to implement a way do adjust the fontsize? Very small to read even in a 10" multimedia device.
