Remove Awakea rd
Awakea rd in Kailua is a quiet neighborhood with a speed limit of 20mph. Lately I have noticed a lot of tourist and local traffic speeding on the road while using a mobile phone. The traffic should stay on Kailua rd.., this road should not be used as a short cut. Please remove Awakea rd in Kailua 96734 as an option / short cut to drive to other locations on Oahu. The noice and traffic speeds are unbearable! Please Help! Mahalo, Jamesp

Add voice commentary at the end of your drive when the route you actually went was slower\quicker than what Waze originally presented.
I want Waze to say, "Good job! You found a faster route! You saved 5 minutes. Other Wazers will thank you." or "The route you chose took you 5 minutes longer. Maybe you should listen to me next time?"

Why does Waze still take me to a back alley?
Why does the app takle me to the back alley? it has the physical address, so why it consistently takes me to the back alley? It's so upsetting that, while driving lyft or Uber I have to always guess and make sure the damn thing is not taking me to the ally, Jesus, fix this crap!

Event Broadcasting
It would be great if you could add a feature for users to temporarily mark and area for an event and broadcast or share with friends and family or make it temporarily searchable so people can find the location. Especially for places that are not labelled eg labelling my house Tini’s House for a day for a wedding event.

Recurso para congelar rota
No Rio de Janeiro temos muitas áreas de risco, sempre antes de de iniciar o trajeto analiso a rota sugerida e verifico se não há risco porém, muitas vezes por conta de trânsito, o waze recalcula a rota e dirigindo não consigo verificar se a rota recalculada é ou não segura. Mediante exposto, sugiro uma função de CONGELAR ROTA, com isso sempre seguirei pela rota inicialmente escolhida e verificada. Sugestão baseado em medidas de segurança.

Lunch time
Dear @waze thank you for your work. I have a suggestion: could you add a voice asking “Is lunch time?” When a driver do not follow the way and goes to a restaurant. And when the app detect movement again, ask: “do we continue traveling?” Thanks again.

Editor-set time penalty on a segment
Waze currently routes by finding the fastest route, considering both the expected travel time and certain penalties. For example, navigating onto a private road adds a 2-hour penalty to the route, effectively forcing travel around that segment unless there is no other route.
My suggestion is that all segments have a Penalty attribute that editors can set in WME. Used thoughtfully, this penalty attribute could give the routing engine a nudge away from areas where, based on editors' local knowledge, traffic should generally not be sent.

Track parking garage exit and use when GPS isn't available.
Waze always tries to start me off a block or two away, and in downtown rush hour traffic, this is useless. I'm always going to exit my parking structure the way I came in.

Addresses should be closes your area and should be listed first
When typing in an address the options list should pertain to the area your in, for example if i’m in Venice Beach CA when I type in Broad Street, the Broad Street in New York City should not be listed first. It should go off the location you are in at the time.

Sound check and select way
1 - It would be nice to have a "test audio signal" when you open the app. Sometimes when I start using the app I´m not sure weather the bluetooth audio connection is working in the car until I hear (or not hear) the next direction.
2 - Suppose you stop on a shoulder or are parked on a two way street. You start Waze and select your destination. Waze will asume you are going in one direction. Many times you are going the other way and you have to wait till Waze recognizes it, recalculates and makes you go…

I'm constantly getting ''Routing Server Timeout'' when I want to calculate a long route (in my case, 1050 KM). Could you please fix this?
Could you please fix this? I'd love to add more information as needed, but this is the first time that I'm using this website so I don't know if this will be possible. The route does cross a few country's though.
