Add "avoid side streets" option
In certain neighborhoods, side street routes are unsafe and not necessarily faster than sticking with the main drag: nothing like having to wait with 3 of my fellow Wazers while an onstreet drug deal concludes in front of us (side street alternative route directed by Waze in NE DC). Or maybe just add "Drug deal in progress" to the notifications?

Report dangerous traffic light / intersection
You used to have the option to report a missing traffic sign or a dangerous traffic light or intersection. Anyway this option has gone missing from the hazard report.
Please bring it back! There are lots of roads (especially in Israel) where the traffic light is almost unnoticeable and it it super dangerous!!!
I had an accident today because of that :(
If the waze voice warns before entering a known dangerous intersection then automatically the driver is more couscous and alert and less speedy.
Please add an option to report it.

highlight traffic jams
Better highlight of traffic jams on the map. AT the moment, it seems impossible to see an upcoming jam when Waze is following a route. The route track overlays the jam indication of the maps and the whole thing is not very visible. Make it clearer by making introducing stripes, checkerboards or whatever.

Improved reporting of wrong speed limits
When reporting a wrong speed limit, for suggestable speed limits the current speed fractionable by 5 above and below should be available as selection. Driving at proper speed that would easily allow to report the correct speed.

Waze to initiate pre-determined reply to texts when driving
I want waze to initiate a pre-determined text reply automatically when I am driving, note automatically, so it switches on and off according to when I am driving using Waze. I would set my reply to say: "I'm driving at the moment so please call me as I can't read your texts but can speak to you using bluetooth. This text has been sent to you by Waze navigation app."

ALWAYS display the destination address please! It helps when driving for Lyft & Uber.
If it's always displayed I won't have to switch off the waze app and go to my Lyft or Uber app to verify address. PLEASE include in next update! It can be a SAFETY HAZARD! Thank you!

Posibilidad de marcar en el mapa, los reductores de velocidad más grandes (túmulos)
En las calles y carreteras de los países de América Central, es común que haya reductores de velocidad de gran tamaño. Sería interesante poder marcarlos en el mapa.
11 votesWe plan to work on reporting the speed bumps in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

Indicate toll roads on main navigation screen
Because a tiny icon in the route summary doesn't cut it and is often missed!
Also ability to show (in route summary) the cost and payment methods (cash, card, NFC, NPR, etc) of the toll road so you can plan ahead.

Show and say the next action before the gps signal lost in tunel
I'm living in a country where lot of tunnel on the road. I all the time facing the problem where I have no time to change the lane at the exit of the tunnel, because the signal lost in the tunnel, and when the device lock the signal again there not enough time to take the action.
It would be nice to warn the user "you driving into the tunnel at the tunnel exit keep left" or something similar.
Yes I know I can see the next action when the gps signal lost but if I don't know how long is the tunnel I'm not sure the next action will be right after the tunnel exit or later needed.I'm living in a country where lot of tunnel on the road. boston accent
You should have a boston accent choice. Just make sure it's actually someone from here doing the accent. Then you could add accents from other states as well.

Allow routing to avoid defined zones on map (bad neighborhoods, long term construction, etc)
Lots of people have suggested that Waze have an option to avoid "bad neighborhoods" or other areas for other reasons, but I understand that it would be very difficult for Waze to do that automatically. For a given city, you usually have to be a local resident to know that you should avoid a certain area in your daily commute.
So, give each user the option to define avoidance zones in our apps. That way, Waze is not responsible for making that determination, the individual users do it. It could be just a simple polygon drawing function, with a checkbox to avoid the area in routes.
That way, Waze won't constantly try to send me through the prime carjacking area in my city every time I go home. That would be nice.

Synchronize points and levels across all Waze servers
Perhaps most Wazers won't realize this until they go on vacation but points earned in another country may not be added to your profile when you return home. Say you live in the UK and you go on a road trip in the US. When you run Waze for the first time in the US you will have zero points, and you will be relegated back to a baby Wazer. And nothing you earn while on that trip will be added to your profile back in the UK. This is a real dis-incentive to participate in sharing information. Please find a way of synchronizing points and levels achieved across all Waze servers.

Police Car in the middle
On the open interstate highways in the USA the State Highway Patrol sit in the middle but I don't know which direction the police is shooting. If there is a "middle" option, it would alert Waze users of either direction. Not only one side of the highway

Configurable sound outputs in Android App
Currently, the Android App is working in an unsatisfying way:
In the Settings menu, under Sound, I've enabled the option to play sounds using the phone's speaker.
When I plug in my earphones in my phone (a Samsung Galaxy S6) I expect all sound to be diverted to the earphones, not being played in the public speaker.Waze does not behave like this. It plays the sound in the speaker regardless of the cable.
My request is to let the user configure, in detail, where the sound should go.
Output sound to:
[ ] Speaker/headphones
( ) Speaker OR headphones
( ) Speaker AND headphones
[ ] BluetoothThere is a checkbox for the title-option "Speaker/headphones". As long as this is unchecked, the two radio buttons below is grayed-out. When you check it, you can choose one of the two alternatives, where "Speaker OR headphones" should be the default.
Selecting "Speaker AND headphones" will output the sound both ways even though the audio cable is connected, while "Speaker OR headphones" work the intuitive way, i.e. no speaker when an audio cable is plugged in.
If the checkbox for Bluetooth is checked, sound goes to Bluetooth as well.
I've posted this in the forum as well. I don't understand why there are two separate places for suggestions/requests... :
