Fix text size for Android car stereos. Currently on 1024x600 screen, text is impossibly small.
Seriously. It should be super simple to scale the UI based on screen resolution. Not sure why it can't happen.

Crowd Tourguide via POI;s
Allow people to add POI's and make a voice recording telling you an interesting fact about this POI.
This will allow other users that pass the area, to listen to the recording and rate it or report it for removal.
This can help people driving through unknown areas to be guided by facts provided by others that would make the journey more interesting than simply driving through an area and not knowing anything about it.1 vote -

Mark places that serve Starbucks as something other than Starbucks. I drive all day and search for Starbucks to get a coffee or food on the way to my destination. I end up at retirement homes, hospitals, churches, schools......

Waze Light
Dear Waze community,
Typically, I rely on Waze to guide me home, however, while leaving a friend's apartment while visiting a foreign country, I found that my fastest route home led me down dark streets and uncrowded areas. Being a young female, I realized that while this was the most efficient way home, it was certainly the least safe. Gastos do percurso, aviso de abastecimento.
Gostaria de adicionar o valor pago no litro da gasolina, média de km/l do meu veículo, e quanto de gasolina foi colocado, para desta forma o Waze confrontar a distância com a média de km/l e assim fornecer quanto eu irei gastar de gasolina no percurso.

Waze audio stops working when I unplug my iPhone
As is obvious from other comments (including my own), Waze doesn't work well with Apple car play. When I am so frustrated with the inefficiency that I give up and unplug my phone so Waze will stop overriding the radio, Waze stops talking to me through the iPhone speakers. None of the settings changes; it just stops talking. So not only does it not work well with my car speakers, it forces me to pick up the phone and look at the screen every time I need to know whether and where to turn. VERY DANGEROUS.

short form instructions for repeated/standard routes
Every day I drive to work. Waze knows that I usually do that, and asks me whether that's where I'm going. So if it knows that, why can't it distinguish between the obstacles/features that are always there ("speed trap ahead") and those that are unique to a particular day ("vehicle stopped on road"). When I drive the same route every day, I know where the speed traps are. I use Waze because it can tell me what I DON'T know. Waze should be able to tell the difference and stop interrupting me every 5 seconds to provide known information.

Add a warning at the beginning of a route, if there's an area we should avoid.
Every day I use Waze to drive to work. I could take either one of two basic routes. Waze usually says "let's take..." and then tells me which route to take. That helps me know which way to turn when I pull out of my driveway, but often Waze tries to make me go around the block before I can actually get started. Consequently, every morning there is confusion about what Waze is really trying to tell me. New map bubble idea
Would love to see a new bubble to place on the map that says “common speed trap location” or something similar. I travel same highway often and know where all the locations cops sit. If I can warn users of those locations they can be prepared.
