1. One Speed Camera (or similar) for various segments/roads...

   Speed Cameras...

   Currently, when a speed camera is cataloged on the map, it only serves the way/segment in which one driver/Wazer travels, being placed in the direction of traffic, acknowledging its presence in the app about 500 meters before.

   However, there are access ways to the main road where that camera is located, access ways that are "within" the speed camera's angle of the main road and access ways where the speed camera does not "beep" because it is located in another street/road...

   At this moment, the only way to beep on the 2 lanes (or 3 or 4 lanes/streets/roads that eventually give access to the main...), is to place a speed camera for each lane that is covered by the speed camera... and in the app, 2, 3 or 4 speed cameras will also appear in the same place, parallel to each other, which doesn't make sense... and it will create confusion for drivers... since, in reality, only one camera "catches" 2, 3 or 4 lanes/streets/roads at the same time....

   Here is one suggestion to improve the speed cameras' system in Waze: perhaps by arranging a way to place the roads covered by the camera, possibly something similar to the junction boxes or by adjusting its angle, so that editors can choose and implement the roads that should be detected, in Waze, by that camera...

2. New WME Layer - Submitted Imagery

   Google-provided aerial imagery is very outdated in places, being at least 6 years old in the area I live. Even in more recent areas, there are new developments and intersections which have been built since. I suggest a way for experienced (lvl 3+?) editors to submit personal drone shots or publicly-available renderings of new developments to be added to a new layer on the map editor. This would make editing updated areas significantly more accurate, and provide a way to confirm the new developments before GPS traces are available. It would also make such imagery accessible to all map editors.

3. Event with more than one other language

   At the moment it is only possible to enter an englisch and optional one other language name for an WME Event.
   Can this limit be increased for optional up to 4 or 5 names (including the englisch language)?

   That would be a gread addition for events that have official names for more than two languages, espiaclly in regions where boarders with more than one country or countrys which have multiple languages.

   As example for boarder regions:
   Belgium/Germany/Netherland
   Austria/Switzerland/Germany
   Austria/Hungary/Slovakia/Czech Republic

   As example for countrys with more than one local language:
   Luxemburg (2 languages + englisch)
   Switzerland (4 languages are spoken)
   Belgium (3 languages)
   Bosnia and Herzegovina (3 languages)

   As an example for an festival with names in multiple laguages can be used the Japan Day (https://www.japantag-duesseldorf-nrw.de/en) used languages are german, englisch and japanese.

   To usse more than one optional additional languages in WME will incerase the localizsation of the app and give the user an better impression.

4. Improve segment selection on mobile

   Hello,

   Could you improve the segment selection on Mobile and Tablet?
   The selection of a segment is already not easy ...
   This could be good in addition to being able to easily select several segments, or multi selection, on mobile and tablet.

   For example, very useful for urgent closure requests made without a permalink and the Team Closure editor is not in front of a PC (and the editor providing the information is on the road at the same time).

5. Livemap uses old Lat/Lon order

   When entering a lat/lon pair as starting point or destination in Livemap, it must be entered as Lon,Lat. WME was updated to copy as Lat,Lon. Livemap should be updated to match.

6. Allow un-checking Segments layer to be persistent

   When using Street Vector Layer I turn off the Segments layer but each time a hard refresh is required (which is far too often) the Segments layer is re-activated by default. Please allow the setting for the Segments layer to be persistent.

8. Distance to overtaking section (Dual lane) on "A" Roads

   Marked on Maps and audio description saying Distance to Overtaking Zone. This would avoid numerous accidents knowing that if you wait a short period of time you can overtake safely rather than risking overtaking in the face of oncoming traffic.

9. Parking Lot Roads - Differentiate Aisles & Roads

   It would be nice to have a way of setting PLRs to be able to use speed data (versus a set speed) while having the same penalty settings (i.e., the road has no penalty between the two PLR settings). This would be useful in large parking lots area such as sporting venues and malls, where set speed is fine for aisles and minor roads but speed data would be useful for finding the fastest entrance/exit on it's higher volume roads. With the set PLR speed, you are almost always getting the shortest route of PLRs, even if that lot exit is much busier and slower (or if say the right turn lane out the lot is fast but a left turn is slower than using a different lot exit).

   This could be a checkbox on PLR segment settings, or potentially a new road type (with the current one named "Parking Lot Aisle" and the new speed data type taking on the "Parking Lot Road" name).

10. Display state instead of country when zoomed out

    If a country uses states then when between zoom levels 5/6 to 10 it should say the state name rather than country name. Once you are zoomed out past level 5 or 6 then it should start saying the country name.

    E.g. More useful to know I am looking at Queensland instead of Australia at this zoom level

11. Conditional lane guidance

    There are many cases in highways where there is an on-ramp shortly followed by an off-ramp. In those cases, the right lane/s serve for those who get on the HW from the on-ramp, as well as those who get off the HW on the off-ramp.
    A wazer that gets on the HW from the on-ramp and has to continue on the HW should get lane guidance to go onto the left lanes when approachng the next junction of the off-ramp, otherwise, he might continue on the right lanes and get off the HW.
    A wazer that comes on the HW and approaches the off-ramp, but has to continue on the HW does not have to get lane guidance (it is disturbing to get lane guidance for every off-ramp on the HW).
    The suggetion is to allow a conditional lane guidance that will allow to define separate lane guidance according to where the wazer came from (not to be confuzed with another suggestion to deal with lane guidance for a turn that will be taken later on).

12. Update UR Categories the same as the App

    Would like to match app problem descriptions with those presented in WME URs.

    For example: UR's that come in for 'Wrong Driving Directions' (what the App says)
    Show in WME as 'Improper / Poor navigation instruction'

    Having that changed to 'Wrong Driving Directions' will help with editors looking at responses and what to select for a default/1st response to a user.

13. Allow for the addition of signage symbols for turn instructions.

    I'm not asking for the ability to add all road signage (e.g. regulatory signage) as this would be overkill, but many countries include symbolism on big green signs to display additional services on a turn instruction without having to use lengthy text to do so.

    While some symbolism exists in unicode/emoji form, these are not uniform across platforms and having country specific visual aids to add to signs would be a valuable way of informing drivers of additional services on their turn instructions.

    The types of signs I would like to see added include:
    * Accomodation
    * Camping
    * Caravan Parks
    * Visitor Information
    * Airport
    * Train Bus and Ferry services
    * Public toilets
    etc

    For example, the following two links are used extensively in Australia - https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/safety/signs/service and https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/safety/signs/tourist - on big green signs, and also on tourist drives. While not all are useful to be added to turn instructions, there are many that would be.

    This would be a meaningful way of informing drivers about services available along their route.

18. Improve WME editing capability on mobile phones

    I can currently add or delete real-time closures in WME in Chrome on my mobile (Galaxy S20). I can't change turn permissions, for instance, as touching the turn arrow to be changed deselects the segment it's part of. Can we get more functionality of WME in Chrome on a mobile phone?

20. Practice mode in WME while logged in

    As far as I know, after logging into the WME, the user cannot enter practice mode anymore.
    I suggest that besides "Default mode" and "Event mode", there will be "Practice mode" that will enable anyone to go into the practice mode directly even when already logged in. This might be useful for anyone who wants to try to edit in order to test something or to illustrate some edit option (and take a snapshot of it), and also it is suggested to enable entrance into the tutorial videos from there.
