It would be a great idea if the buttons to show the types of existing roads had the colors of the different types of roads in the WME.

Creating an traffic event from a RTC automatically
Waze wants more traffic events additional to the RTC in order to benefit from the metadata.
Adding a larger amount of traffic events as before needs exceptionally more time and effort.- First, visiting the event tab and creating an event with name, duration etc.
- Adding the respective RTCs with again entering name and duration. 3.Again, going to the event tab and submitting the event.
This is too much work to keep up in general.
So solve this, I suggest the possibility to create an event from the closures tab automatically using the already submitted closure name and duration (as an…

Managed area's name - Nombre del área administrada
Edit the name of the managed areas in the WME.
You should be able to edit the name name of the managed areas in the WME. It would be faster to choose the area.Editar el nombre de las áreas gestionadas en el WME.
Debería poder editar el nombre de las áreas gestionadas en el WME. Sería más rápido elegir el área.70 votes -
URs should show anonymized but user-unique handle for reporter
The current 100% anonymity of UR reporters makes it impossible for editors to detect reporting patterns of specific Wazers. If URs showed a fully anonymized but user-unique handle for the reporter, editors could identify problematic or abusive patterns. This would save editors time and energy, and allow them easily to report such patterns to community leadership or to Waze for potential action.
Specifically, editors have long suspected that certain Wazers may: (1) repeatedly flag an issue, or a kind of issue, on which they refuse to accept the editing community's past analysis; (2) submit multiple URs for no clear reason,…

House number change history
When selecting a house number the interface no longer shows who last modified the house number. History on the segment doesn't always show what was change (it might show added or deleted, but not moved or edited). Segment history needs to have more detail on what was done.

Add function to upload Point of Interest (POI) and Speed Camera databases
An easier editor should be available to upload bulk CSV data of POI and Speed Camera databases, instead of updating and marking one by one. This would help smaller communities get up to speed with Waze updates.

Allow the WMEb "BETA" indicator to link back to the production WME
In the latest beta, there is now a [• BETA] indicator in the header. Please consider adding a way to use this indicator as a shortcut back to the production WME.
Perhap click to open a tab of with the PROD wme at the same spot, and hover+CNTL+C (or right click) to copy a PROD wme permalink.
We'd like to encourage users to edit the BETA wme as much as possible, but when collaborating or posting to public forums, we should make it as easy as possible to share PROD permalinks.

Edit Toll Prices in the WME
The procedure to edit toll prices is complex and only certain users per community can edit those prices.
Toll prices should be editable directly in the WME to avoid a complex process.

Low Bridge indicator on map editor
Problem I see there is no low bridge indicator on map editor if it could be added with height restrictions ...it would be a big problem solver for us truck drivers. Who drive around the cities all the time. I my self have tried to navigate around cities .with low bridges.. and it's no fun ...you truckies will know what I mean

Practice mode in WME while logged in
As far as I know, after logging into the WME, the user cannot enter practice mode anymore.
I suggest that besides "Default mode" and "Event mode", there will be "Practice mode" that will enable anyone to go into the practice mode directly even when already logged in. This might be useful for anyone who wants to try to edit in order to test something or to illustrate some edit option (and take a snapshot of it), and also it is suggested to enable entrance into the tutorial videos from there.59 votesThanks for your feedback. No feedback provided if permalink is unable to select items
Currently there is no feedback given if one or more items are not selected when opening a permalink (i.e segments, places, URs, etc.).
For instance, I have a document with PLs of segments that are always closed during events (such as stadiums). If a segment ID is changed and therefore no longer linked in the PL, I have no way of easily knowing this.
Please consider providing some sort of warning if WME is unable to locate all the linked items.

Parking lot type (motorcycles-only, cars-only, both)
It's very common, at least in Colombia, parking lots only for motorcycles and it's really dissapointing to arrive at a parking lot suggested by Waze, and realize that it's a motorcycle-only parking lot and you're driving a car.
Please add a new property in WME to choose the type of parking lot: motorcycles-only, cars-only, or both, and add a new feature in app to filter by parking lot type.57 votesThanks for your feedback. Enable merging residential places
Today we cannot directly merge two residential places (or merge a residential place into a public one). There is a workaround: convert residential places to public ones, save them, merge, then convert back to residential if needed. Why not allow merging the direct way?

Allow snapping of places geometry nodes together
It would be very useful to be able to "snap" geometry nodes of two different places together (just like to when creating an intersection with two segments). This would ease the mapping of adjacent places (e.g.: a mall next to a park, or a river next to a park, that goes all the way to the edge of said river).

The option to turn off certain items in map display, like schools, libraries, parks, etc.
As the subject says, it would be nice if we could un-clutter the display by having the ability to turn OFF certain items on the map display like schools, churches, libraries, parks, etc.

More informative options for the GPS layer colours (colour by speed or age)
Currently, the arrows on the GPS layer are coloured by direction. It would be useful for editors to be able to choose between that and at least two other options: colour by speed, to help editors understand historical traffic patterns and troubleshoot routing decisions; and colour by age, to help editors spot roads that may have been recently realigned or closed.

Copy button for segment/place address
Very often you have to search info for address while editing maps and it could be made a lot easier by adding a copy button to copy address on properties panel. Or maybe 2 buttons, 1st for just the street name, 2nd for whole address.

Flag Waze segments for addition to Google Maps
If an editor adds roads to Waze and sees they aren't in Google Maps, we have to add them using the Google Maps interface. This does not include access to additional imagery which can make it easier to make the updates.
With the increased data exchange between Waze and Google, it makes sense to have a button to flag sections of the Waze map for incorporation of high priority changes rather than having to map the area twice.

Include temporary settings like HOV route selection in UR information
Relatively recently we got the ability to see some app settings in user reports. What we can't see are temporary settings like whether or not an HOV route was selected. It would be helpful to surface any information available that does not compromise anonymity.
