  1. Filter issues as self reported issues

    Filtering own comments/reports/issues Sometimes I mark some issue with the purpose of editing it. But I'm not always able to find it again.

  2. Routines

    I go to work every weekday around 8:00, and come home around 5:00. WAZE seems to know this, as it pops up on my screen so I can easily select it.
    There are several routes to take between my home and work. Often, I drive the same route. Occasionally, there is an accident, construction, etc... so another route is better. So I always like to check WAZE.
    WAZE knows that I'm going to work, and I generally know how I'm getting there. So, automatically provide minimal directions. If traffic is bad on my usual route, switch to full directions. When…

  3. Easier to switch between Brief and Sound On instructions

    I like the Brief Instructions when I'm in familiar territory. I like full instructions when going somewhere new or unfamiliar.

    It would be great if I could easily switch between the two. Could we add "Brief" alongside "Sound Off" "Alerts Only" and "Sound on" instead of going through the settings menu?

  5. Traffic Control design

    Traffic Control Design: Allow registered Contruction businesses to add traffic control setups(cones, utility workers present, etc.) when work is being done in certain areas and grant the ability to save those plans via PDF.

  8. Make the roads bigger on smartphones

    I would like to be ble to correct directly from my smartphone (i.e. Android)
    It is perfect from a laptop.
    But on smartphones, roads are too small.
    If it is possible to make them bigger only for smartphones that would be perfect

  10. Keep hot buttons easy to access

    Keep a button on main screen for a hazard report such as cop or object on road or car on shoulder. You can Let the people choose about 3 hot buttons to keep for easy reporting.

  14. Waze editors should have a method to solicit information from Waze users who navigate via a specific road or POI

    It would be helpful to be able to request information from users who drive on specific road, or drive to/drive past a specific POI. The Waze app users should be prompted for specific information such as :-

    Road 1) Whats the name of this road?
    2) Is this road paved? What is the quality of the road?
    3) Possibility to submit a photo of the road?

    POI 1) Submit a photo for this POI
    2) Submit facilities available at this POI
    3) Submit hours of operation etc for this POI
    4) Submit a telephone number for this POI

  15. TIPO DE VIA "MUNICIPAL"

    Seria interessante criar via "MUNICIPAL" visto que tem estradas de dominio federal e estadual, mas não tem as vias municipais que são pavimentadas, estas não podem ser consideradas "ruas" visto que são de alta velociade e ligam zonas rurais e pequenas vilas, e não são estaduais pois estão *** responsabilidade do municipio bem como a manutenção e construção.

  16. Add Globe View from Google Maps to the Waze Map Editor.

    There is a vast difference between having Globe View toggled on and off. If it was added, it would allow new edits to be made with the ever changing infrastructure of the world. I've noticed myself that I was unable to make some changes due to outdated satellite imagery through the map editor, however I am able to see changes much more clearly with it toggled through Google Maps directly.

    Since Waze is now owned by Google, would this be a hard thing to port over to the map editor?

  17. Waze - Version Release (Number).

    Hi.

    It would be a nice touch to add the - Waze Version Release, under (Waze Map Editor), so users can see what version they are running and if any bugs are needed to be reported, they can using that version as a reference?

  18. WME - Default Category List.

    Hi.

    Please, allow us to change the default - WME Category choices in the drop-down menu to our own preference. As for example we do not use any of the "parent" categories, so it would be great if we could choose what we want making it easier for us to create places.

  19. Pagar peaje por solo unos 200 metros de autorpista?

    Todos los días me dirijo a mi casa por una calle a un costado de una autopista que tiene peaje, y cada día WAZE me recomienda pasar por la autopista que tiene un pórtico de peaje. El problema es que solo tendría que recorrer unos 200 metros de autopista y luego salir de inmediato.

    ¿Es posible que exista un criterio de definición de ruta evaluando no solo el tiempo de ruta, sino que además evalúe el pago a realizar en el los peajes según la distancia que uno recorre dentro de la autopista? Pôr ejemplo, que elija la autopista si…

  20. Support more kind of private roads.

    Several categories of private roads exist.

    The common is that transit should not be allowed within them.
    But after that different categories exists :

    Some are open but only visitors allowed
    Some other are physically closed with or without the ability to open them.
    It would be useful to be able to map those categories so Waze would warn the driver before driving about the condition of the destination, and eventually change destination if it is not reachable.
