I don't think this is that easy ... All year long I drive the same road from work to home at around the same hour. A couple of days per year there's a bicycle race on my road which jams up the rest of the roads around it.
If I would navigate with current congestion waze would route me around it (I hope)
If I would navigate with projected traffic and not real traffic, I would be routed right into it as Waze would not be able to account for the special events.
Same with traffic incidents... highways are usually fine, unless one day, a truck hit a couple of cars resulting in fatalities and complete closure of the highway.
Projections can be wrong... the current traffic is what it is.

Why blacklists... maybe some kind of user reliability scoring system on the server.
- If you're driving harder than 30 km/h and you report a "complete standstill", you're lying.
- If you report "police not here" while standing still for a long time, you're probably the police trying to dereport themselves.
- Only allow 1 report per 5 minutes e.g. .... could already be filtered out on the the client side (without letting the user know)Rarebit supported this idea ·

Search for "Arnold" in the searchbox on the right, and vote for the "bring back arnold" idea with the highest count.

The "traveling sales man" problem... I highly doubt it. Programs for that exist but they're in another category (and none are free that I know of).

No, not yet possible... but search this forum for mirrorlink, and vote for the one with the highest current count.
iCoyote and Sygic can do it but they're not free.

Why would waze need to report the fluid traffic areas... there's no need to report the normal situation... maybe an area would be "fluid" as no wazer travelled on it the last few hours e.g. while in fact it's completely blocked.
If you get a report for a traffic jam it's because some wazer reported it, no-one is going to report fluid traffic.

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

The idea is to use your GSM as GPS in order not to have additional hardware.

As additional thing besides driving over "candy" from time to time... why not?

Lol ... lots of people like you, with the idea "bring c3po back" and 1 vote... there's power in numbers.... Search for C3PO in the search box to the right... click on the highest idea in the results (which currently has the highest points) and give 3 votes for that.
