As we are currently moving forward with adding this for natural features, we'd like to implement that first, and then check back to see if this is still relevant after that feature is live.

An error occurred while saving the comment Consider to have less GPS points shown on WME by not showing those resulting from users on airplanes.
Maybe a filter for those resulting of speeds ... let's say ... higher than 300 km/h, should not be considered for WME purposes and not shown to editors.

Hello LostInMyMaps,
The idea is to have the possibility to select the entire street by any of its name (main, alternative1, alternative2, ...). So, it should expand the current functionality by allowing the same actual behavior that we already have (the ability to select a street by its main name) to the alternatives names!
This can help not only on road closures, by allowing to select specific areas where we have added an alternative name to segments for such purpose, but it can also help to make quicker selections of a street built by two segments (one for each direction): we can add STREET NAME plus the main direction of each of the two segments, like SOUTH or EAST or WEST or NORTH. By doing this, we can quickly select just one specific segment (specific direction) of a specific street.
In short, the idea is to have more tools to allow a more dynamic selection of a street.
