Thank you very much for this detailed suggestion.
Currently there is a lot of work around communication between the WME and the client (the app), to find how best should be handled.We will do our best to share some more details about it in the near future.
At this point this is currently not planned, and therefore won’t move to our back log.
If any thing in this direction will be changed, we will update accordingly.

Hey,
We have looked at this suggestion, and in order to make some decisions about it, would like to kindly ask you to provide us with more data about it.
Please share some examples for when and where this restrictions apply? (use cases)
And any country you know relevant for it.

We plan to work on having an option to report a lane closure in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

If roads through parking lots are city owned public roads then just convert them to a Street and Waze will use them for routing.
If the parking lot is on private land then it shouldn't be used as a short cut.
You have a green bar on the left of the screen showing how far to the end of the average speed zone.
When driving at the speed limit it will make no difference if you are in a average speed check zone or not.
