Privacy zone: stop reporting *near* home/work
Having read the Waze ideology of location reporting at journey endpoints with respect to privacy I have deemed it wanting greatly.
Please consider a feature to allow one to create flexible (arbitrarily variable) zones around one's home, workplace, church, etc, where upon entering one's position is no longer publicly visible.
I am confident a variation of this will mitigate privacy journey endpoint concerns

This is actually a very reasonable privacy suggestion. A customizable privacy zone around sensitive locations like home, work, or places frequently visited would give users far more control over how their live location data is shared. Allowing adjustable radius sizes instead of fixed zones could make the feature much more practical for different environments and city layouts. Digital privacy matters more than ever, whether it’s navigation apps protecting journey endpoints or gamers using tools like an invisible Fortnite name generator to maintain a more anonymous online identity. Some platforms are also more narrow and require precise time synchronization to align properly. https://drift-boss.pro

I suggest you offer a "first mile/last mile" feature. I don't need the app to tell me how to leave my neighborhood, and at a certain point on the return I also don't need instructions. It would be nice to be able to tell the app to start/stop giving directions after a certain point, altho the entire route should still appear on the map.

Or how about you don't use your real name so people can't see who you are? Regulate yourself if you're concerned about privacy.

I'm new to waze, and I might delete if there isn't an automatic invisible near home.

This could be implemented with the 'home' and 'work' location functions to avoid users appearing on the map when they've been stationary at a predefined location for a long period of time.

Currently google collects but CLAIMS to delete 500m from end points. This is similar to the absurdity of opt-out.
No, don't collect & delete
Do: not-collect

Awesome. This is exactly what I wanted to suggest. Possibly allowing the user To select a radius from tHeir home location such as 1, 5 or 10 miles?

Prevent crime/stalking by adding auto invisible when near home or destination.

last 500 meters is insufficient when one uses major intersection as home instead of numbered street address!

waze not makes public the last 500 meters of your route
