Optie voor tractors (snelwegen EN ook autowegen vermijden)
Hallo, ik ben tractorchauffeur. En voor tractors is het verboden om op snelwegen en autowegen te komen. Het zou dus makkelijk zijn als je ook de optie hebt om autowegen te vermijden.

It would be very helpful if there was an option to show roads that don’t allow pulling trailers
Waze does not give an option to show or redirect when you’re pulling a trailer. Some roads such as the Merritt Parkway don’t allow trailers. Sometimes we trailer motorcycles going south from Ct.

Large purple route line hides traffic color info
When in navigation mode the purple route line hides the yellow and red lines showing traffic congestion. This discourages me from using waze. Please implement the route line like Google maps with the whole route line changing colors based on traffic instead of hiding this information with a huge purple route line. If this is hard to implement then just shrink the purple route line to be about 1/4 as wide so you can see the traffic color information underneath.

Personaly set speed limit :
Having a "personaly set speed limit" feature that could be set for a given trip planning, independantly from the speed figures of the drives taken in the past (i.e unlike the already existing Personalized ETA feature) would allow to get planning results corresponding to one's own speed limit decisions, whether they be for EV range optimisation, trailer towing, vehicle capabilities, fuel efficiency on combustion engine vehicles, or other reasons... Ability to add obstructions offline
Wish there was a way to add (eg, road closures) offline - currently it seems the only way to do it is to actually drive there until the triangle button appears on the screen. Trying to warn everyone as a closed road is currently showing as roadworks/closed lane.

Leave the overview map on the screen until I change it.
In Google Maps, when I get to the Overview Screen, it stays on the screen and slowly zooms in until I get to my destination. In Waze, the Overview Screen only stays for a few seconds, then reverts to the basic navigation screen. Please make Waze more like Maps and let me keep the Overview Screen on the display until I change it!

Low clearance feature
There should be a feature that allows you to select routes for oversized trucks- tractor trailers keep getting stuck in the sumner tunnel or moving trucks on storrow drive all the time!! This is Boston MA but I’m sure other places could benefit too

Please add Electronic tolls on the system
Please add Electronic tolls on the system, only appears classic tolls, and this is a big problem when you select a no toll route, and the system drives you throug a route with Electronic toll, and you have no eay to pay but before using them, like in Portugal

Road Safety Level
Waze should add the option into the Map Editor to choose a safety level of a segment/road - in parts of the world, like in South America for example, in some streets you can come across gangs, shootings and other related life-threatening situations. Though, the feature can also he used for roads in dangerous or high terrain. And, the road safety level should then appear when choosing routes - when Waze calculates all possible routes - the safest one should say "Safest Route". avoid streets with poor road surface (loopholes, etc.)
assign a score to each street (ask the drivers), calculate the average score for each route and include it in the choice. + an option to chose the best quality road.

Fastest route regardless of toll fees
Currently Fastest Route takes toll amount and distance into consideration. Many times, better routes with much higher tolls + a longer highway detour is in fact faster.
While there is an option to opt out of tolls, there is no way to have the "Fastest" route regardless.
Fastest should mean really the fastest and not "according to what Waze thinks people might want".

End route at end of closed segments
When the destination would end on a segment that is currently closed the route ends on the next closest segment (that isn't closed) which in many cases is a road in the back of the property where there's no access to the destination.
Consider ending the route at the last node that is not closed on the route - at the node the closure ends/starts.

Traffic Jam Standstill Should be much slower
Waze needs to read the speed of Wazers in a Standstill Traffic Jam better. In the last couple of months, I have not been re-routed around terrible standstill traffic jams because Waze thinks the "Standstill" is moving at 15 mph when, in reality, you're literally idling and moving a few feet every couple of minutes. I see where the app tracks Wazers, so why can't it use their average speed, which was closer to 3 mph?
