An error occurred while saving the comment Robert McIntosh commentedArriving on the same side of the road as the destination is the best and safest option. The vehicle could be parked by the destination with the driver not having to cross the road, or the vehicle could enter a car park at the destination without having to turn across traffic. This would also avoid the temptation to perform a u-turn to park outside the destination.
