    From my job to home there are some points that are common to different possible routes.

    There is one that is specially important, because it divide my navigation in 2 parts: from my job to the downtown limit and from it to home.

    And navigation may be done by different ways at every part.

    I suppose Waze calculates the best route regarding the overall way.

    If so, my suggestion is to divide it by a reasonable number of common points and calculate the best route by choosing the best sub-routes.
