I live near Logan Airport and there is a bridge nearby (Chelsea St Bridge) which takes about 17 min to complete an up/down cycle not counting any traffic that backs up during the cycle. This creates considerable traffic in the surrounding areas. Because maritime law trumps any surface traffic laws there is no warning as to when this nightmare will start. However, I found a twitter feed that comes from the bridge that provides some notice. @LogantoChelsea tweets when the bridge is going up and when its down and the road reopens. If you could integrate the tweets into the traffic map it will save a lot of people a lot of time
