    The alert may be bothersome as people generally drive above the speed limit anyway. but how about adding a bubble above the "Current speed" with the maximum speed. The current speed circle could then turn RED if you were going above the posted speed. This could be an option to display like the current speed. There could be an REPORT that you could hit when you see a speed sign to record the speed.
